No sir, well I don't wanna be the blame,
Name “I don’t like my name, so I’d prefer for you to just call me Anna Shauk. My full first name is too... princess-y.” Anna’s full name is Annabelle May Shauk. She hates her first name and her middle name though. Her usual response when someone calls her Annabelle is to stab them in the arm with her dagger or to shock them lightly. She would shock them, not so lightly, if she could.
Birthday “I was born on the fifth day of May.” Anna was born on May 5, 1997.
Gender “Is that some sort of trick question? It’s rather obvious, isn’t it?” Anna is a girl obviously.
God Parent “My father? The only reason I’m here is because my parents sent me here right after a lightning bolt appeared over my head. I have no idea what you mean by ‘God Parent.’” Anna’s Godly parent is Zeus.
Claimed “What does that mean?” Yes, Anna is claimed.
Mortal Family “My cousin, Elijah James Smith, he stays here too, doesn’t he?” Eli's mother and father are Anna's aunt and uncle. Their names are Elle and James Smith.
Years in Camp “I just got here.”
Brief History ”My cousin left our house when I had just turned four years old. this may seem hard to believe, but I still remember him. His smile, his laugh, his mess of hair. These were all things that made him, well him. I was quite sad when he left, but I continued to get everything I wanted. Every toy. I wasn’t that much into dolls and doll houses; I was more of a tom-boy. My child hood was made up of Pokemon ad the power rangers. Maybe I would have grown up differently, like more of a girl, if Eli I had stayed. I remember calling him Ellie, because I couldn’t pronounce Eli. When I was about ten, I started seeing odd things. I saw a centaur once; half man half horse, right? I also saw other abnormal things.” Anna is from Brooklyn. When Anna was two, her parents adopted Eli. Anna loved him to death and would try to do anything she could to make him happy. When she woke up one morning and he was gone, it was as if her whole world shattered like a fragile piece of glass hitting the ground hard. He was that special to her, he was like an older brother to her.
A week ago, a lightning bolt appeared over Anna’s head. She looked up and gasped. Immediately after, her mother and step-father sent her to Camp Half Blood. She ran into a bunch of monsters, but the dagger her mother gave her saved her throughout her journey. She got lost a couple times, but easily found her way around things. And now she is here, but she’s very confused about what’s going on. She doesn’t really know what some of this demigod stuff is.
Physical Appearance ”Are you trying to steal my identity?” Anna is a pretty girl, not that she cares about that. She has deep red hair that falls down to the small of her back. It s layered every three inches or so and she is growing out long bangs. Anna has beautiful electric blue eyes like every other child of Zeus She has high cheek bones and the only flaw to her face is a mole near her hairline. The bright side about that is it’s easy to hide. She also has a small chip in one of her front teeth, but being who she is and having the past she does, she doesn’t smile a whole lot.
Anna stands at five feet and eight and a half inches tall. She is slender and light weighted. She likes to go for the casual look when she dresses. Usually you’ll find her in skinny jeans and a T-shirt, maybe a necklace and some jewelry if you’re lucky. Oh that’s another thing. She must wear makeup everyday. It’s a part of her daily routine. On special occasions, you’ll find Anna wearing an elegant dress of some sort.
Personality ”I swear you’re trying to steal my identity.” Anna Shauk can be very, uh, electrifying if you piss her off. By the way, pissing her off is not that hard to do because of her temperament issues. She loses her cool very quickly and next you know, you're a sizzling shish kabob. Not literally, but hopefully you understand that it is not a wise idea to get on Anna's bad side. She has trust issues. Anna can be really rude to you when you first meet her, but no fear, if she likes you, she'll eventually warm up to you.
On the inside, Anna really is a nice girl. The only thing that makes her seem unkind to people is the fact that she can't trust someone until she knows where their loyalty lies. Anna can also be enthusiastic about almost anything, but she's afraid to show her enthusiasm sometimes, causing her to sometimes seem closed off. She wants to show her enthusiasm, but sometimes she feels like there's a big wall in front of her, preventing that from escaping.
Fatal Flaw ”Er, I have a secret. I know who murdered your son.” Anna cannot lie. She starts lying but then she decides to tell the truth. She goes by the saying Honesty is the best policy. Sure it’s best to be honest, but there are just some things you shouldn’t tell people. What she doesn’t go by is If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say it.
Pets “Animals are over-rated.”
Talents “Er...um?” Anna doesn’t like to think she’s good at anything, and besides she hasn’t really discovered any of her talents, since she just arrived at camp. **Climbing: Soon Anna will find out that she’s a professional at the rock climbing. She spent a lot of earlier life climbing over things to hide when she was sad or angry. **Archery: Anna has always been gifted with archery skills. Her parents got her into the sport when she was just ten.
Weapons “My parents gave me αστραπή to me for my fourteenth birthday.” Anna has αστραπή, translated to Lightning. It’s a necklace and falling from the necklace is a real electrifying lightning bolt. When she shouts “αστραπή” the necklace becomes a bow and arrow.
Year-Round or Summer “I’m never ever going back home. Year-round.
Other "My cousin's name is Elijah James Smith. Have you seen him around here?" Anna’s color is parchment.
Not anymore, It’s your turn.

There's a side to you, That I never knew, never knew.
Name “Hey there; my name is Emma!” Her full name is Emma Marie Page.
Age/Birthday “I’m 15 and my birthdate March 3, 1997.”
Gender “I’m a Female.”
God Parent “Apollo.”
Mortal Family “I have a family? Besides my sister? I mean outside of Camp Half Blood?” Emma’s family abandoned her at the age of five so she has no memory of them. Miraculously she survived living on the streets until the satyrs found her. There’s Rosanne Page. And then there’s her twin sister, Amelia Jane Page. At least there was.
Years in Camp “Since I was seven … that … ummm … how many years is that?” She’s been at camp eight years.
Brief History “Oh … where do I begin?” Emma was born nineteen minutes after her twin sister. Their mother was surprised when she gave birth to them. She hadn’t known she was pregnant. Rosanne abused Emma and Amelia constantly until one day when they were five. She just dumped them off in an alley somewhere in New York. A few weeks later, Emma was scrummaging for food in a trash bin when a kitten came up to her. He set a loaf of bread at her feet and he followed her back to her sister. Emma decided to keep the kitten and she named him Rufus.
About two years later, when Emma and her sister were found by a satyr. He seemed friendly enough so they followed him. He said they were going to a camp. A camp for girls and boys like the two of them. Of course, Emma and Amelia got really excited. Only they got into a little trouble with some monsters. “Mia got trapped in the midst of the monsters. I wanted to go back and get her, but the satyr said we had to move. I now know that Mia’s dead.” A day or two after Amelia’s death, Rufus and Emma arrived at a place known as Camp Half Blood and ever since then she’s never left the place.
Physical Appearance “I’m really not comfortable talking abut myself …” Emma can be described as beautiful ... but she doesn't think so. Her hair is a beautiful blazing red, but she doesn't know how it got to be that red. Her eyes are a beautiful emerald green. They're just so dazzling; it's kind of scary really. She has a few freckles on her face, but not a lot. Oh, and she has a slight acne problem, something she hates about herself. She also hates that her appearance makes her stand out so much.
Emma usually wears skinny jeans and a T-shirt; jean shorts in the summer. The dresses she has are kinda in bad shape. She also has a a pair of fire red converse and a black pair. And then there's her combat boots. That's basically it for what you can find her wearing. She is five feet and three inches tall, an okay height for her.. It doesn't make her stand out so much. Weighing about 97 pounds, she finds it difficult to gain or lose weight.
Personality “Well I guess I’m nice …” Emma is right; she is nice, but it doesn’t just stop there. Emma has a soft spot for animals and other Demi Gods who have lost their family. She’s a really friendly person. However, she does have a few flaws. For one, she is insecure about herself. Her personality and her history. She absolutely hates talking about herself. Now, there’s one thing about her that contradicts that. She can be quite a selfish person. And of course she’s in denial, but who isn’t these days.
Emma is very brave. If she could replace someone who was endangered on a quest she would. One thing she does a lot is complain about how sucky her childhood was. She doesn’t even seem to hint that maybe just maybe other Demi Gods could have had an even worse childhood than she had.
Fatal Flaw “Umm … I don’t know.” Her fatal flaw is insecurity.
Pets “Yeah I’ve got Rufus! He likes to bring me back dead mice!” Emma has a ten year old male cat who found her on the street when she was really little! She’s called him Rufus ever since!
Talents “Well, I guess I’m kinda good at archery … but as far as I know that’s it.” Emma has a knack for archery. Being at camp for eight years, she’s almost an expert at it. Emma loves to play her guitar, something she’s also good at. And her talent of singing is breathtaking.
Weapons “I’ve got a guitar.” Emma has a guitar and when she taps it in just the right place the guitar turns into a beautiful bow and arrow. That’s why she carries her guitar around everywhere she goes.
Year-Round or Summer “I stay here all year long."
Other “Nothing that I can think of.” Her color is #ff3333.
All the things you'd say, they were never true, never true.

But I won’t hesitate no more, no more.
Name “Hey there; I’m Elijah, but you can call me Eli.” Elijah James Smith is this teenager’s name. Most people call him Eli though.
Age/Birthday “Well, I’m almost 16 ... why do you need to know my birthday? You gonna stalk me?” Eli is 15 and his birthday is June 16, 1996.
Gender “I’m like totally a girl.” Eli is being completely sarcastic here. Elijah Smith is a boy.
God Parent ”My father is Hermes. Why do you care?”
Claimed ”If I knew the answer to the last question, you’d think that the answer to this one would be pretty obvious.” Yes, he is.
Mortal Family ”I come from this stupid rich family. They never really cared about me, so when I turned seven, they dumped me off here.” Eli’s mother (Elle), step-father (James), and cousin (Annabelle) always treated him like he was an idiot just because he has dyslexia and ADHD.
Years in Camp ”I’ve been here since I was seven ... gosh, this would be so much easier if I was seventeen now.” He has been at camp for about nine years.
Brief History ”Well, where should I start? How about how at age six, my parents were giving me nothing, just food, water, and the occasional birthday and Christmas present, and they gave Annabelle, my four year old cousin, everything she wanted. One day in early June, right before I was to turn seven, they dropped me off at the hill over there. I remember describing it as tall and monstrous when I first saw it. (to be continued)” Eli walked up the hill and immediately fell in love with his new home. He has never seen his step-father or mother since. It turns out that his cousin is also a demigod, but they don’t have the same parents at all. He trained at camp as hard as he could, in the hopes of one day conquering his family and the way they treated him.
Physical Appearance ”I’m sexy and I know it!” Oh, Eli ... people are working on his humility. Eli’s dirty blonde hair is always either spiked or in a mess and some girls think it’s cute. His eyes are green like the summer grass, soaking in the afternoon sun. You can tell that Eli hangs out at the beach a lot because he is very tan. His teeth are straight and his smile always seems to be a smirk. He has a slight acne problem, and when reading, which is a rarity, he has to wear glasses.
Eli is tall, standing at five foot and ten-and-a-half inches. He is slender, but muscular; you can tell that he works out on a regular basis. When Eli drives, he wears magnified sun glasses, so that he looks cool, but can still see the signs scattered throughout the streets. Eli usually wears jeans and a button down shirt, which he never tucks in unless he’s going out somewhere nice to eat or on a date.
Personality ”Well, I’m awesome! No really, I’m being serious!! Why are you laughing at me?” Eli is quite a sarcastic teenager, but he can also be serious. He’s not ALL fun and games. He is also very proud. One positive trait about Eli is that he is very protective. One thing that comes with his being protective is he is kind and gentle, but also fierce. He is also a flirt.
Eli loves to talk about himself. Sometimes he will drone on and on for hours on end and he won’t even notice that you are gone until he finishes. It’s kind of funny, seeing a teenage boy standing there, yacking on and on, talking about himself like there’s someone he’s talking to. He also is a little revengeful...
Fatal Flaw ”Who said there had to be something wrong about me?” *wink* Eli’s fatal flaw his his pride. He thinks he’s the best at everything he does and someday, it’s going to get him killed.
Pets ”Nah ... I’m not much of an animal person. Never had a pet when I was a kid and I still don’t have one as a teenager.
Talents “I’m good at throwing things. Wanna be my test dummy?” *holds up sharp javelin with a wink* Eli is right; he is very talented at throwing things. He is also very good at sneaking stuff into camp. If you want to chill around with some cokes or something, Eli is the camper to go to. Eli is also good at multiple sports: soccer, basketball, tennis; you name it, he’s played it.
Weapons ”I have these javelins. Three of them and they’re fun to use.” Eli also has a dagger that he has never used; it lies in the depths of the Hermes Cabin.
Year-Round or Summer ”Year round. I don’t go to visit my mom anymore.”

Hey there Delilah, What’s it like in New York City?
Name ”I’m Aednat, pronounced ‘ey-nit’. Oh you know what, just call me Delilah or Aiden.” Aednat Delilah Gallagher, but just call her Aiden or Delilah, it will be so much easier for you.
Birthday ”May 13, 1993.”
Gender ”That’s an insult . . .” Aiden is a girl.
God Parent “Only the most beautiful Goddess in the world.” Aiden’s God parent is Aphrodite.
Mortal Family ”Daddy gave me a car for my birthday!” Aiden’s Irish father, Blaine Gallagher, is rich and spoils his little halfblood, a lot.
Years in Camp ”Five. I know the ropes by now, but five years isn’t anything special.”
Brief History ”Well, before I turned twelve and was sent here—something I didn’t want to do, but am glad I did—my daddy gave me everything I wanted and more. Isn’t he nice? I think he’s really nice!” Aiden has always been spoiled by her father. She got everything she wanted whenever she wanted it. But it wasn’t always because her father loved her and was rich; sometimes there was something else behind it. Aiden was able to manipulate her father into getting her stuff, although she didn’t have to use it often, or much of it.
When she was twelve, her father decided it was better to play safe than sorry, and sent her off to camp. Aiden refused, but her dad didn’t give into the manipulation. The power she didn’t realize she had wasn’t strong enough for this. So, she was dragged, literally, off to camp knowing that she would not enjoy it at all. Surprisingly, she was wrong.
When she was fourteen, she was claimed. She had gotten really excited about a boy and was telling a friend when it happened. Frankly, she wasn’t that surprised when she found out. She loved love and beauty and things like that. It either had to be Aphrodite or Eros, and her mortal parent is a guy.
Physical Appearance ”You know that song, You’re Beautiful? Yeah, it was written about me.” You could call Aiden beautiful. She has beautiful, long, layered, blonde hair that falls down to her waist. She has bangs, which fall to her ears, that she pulls off to the sides of her head. Her eyes are a light blue color; they don’t have a gray tint to them, but they certainly aren’t your normal blue eyes. Her skin is clear, but her face is a little round, but not too much.
Aiden is tall compared to most teenage girls. She stands at five feet and ten inches, but she is nearing the point where she reaches five foot and eleven inches. She is slender, but not so skinny that people would mistake her for anorexic. Her body figure is the hour glass shape. You can see some of the the bones where they join with others in her arms, particularly her wrists, but that’s pretty much it.
Aiden wears make up, of course. She doesn’t wear a lot though because she doesn’t want to blow everyone away with her beauty. The most obvious is the cherry lips she must have on before she leaves cabin ten. Only her siblings and good friends know what the real shade of her lips are.
Aiden’s fashion sense is very trendy and in-style. It changes with the months and the seasons. One season you’ll find her in sandals and colored denim shorts and the next, she’ll be in jeans and have feather earrings dangling from her ears. It all depends on the season.
Personality ”Why does it matter? No matter what, you’ll be my friend.” *soft laughter* First off, Aiden is conceited and she thinks she’s better than everyone else in the room, at camp, in the world; you name it. Aiden thinks she is the most beautiful girl alive. She thinks that she is the perfect role model for anyone and everyone. She’s conceited and careless.
Yes, Aiden or Delilah, or whatever you choose to call her, is careless. Or so it seems. She never seems to care about what is going on around her or what is going on in other camper’s lives. She also doesn’t care if an action she performs will hurt others or even herself. She doesn’t think first; she only does.
Aiden is disarming. Everyone finds her nice and cheery and always in a good mood, but part of that is because she’s so conceited and careless that she has nothing to be sad or sorry about. Her smile and her charm will brighten everyone’s day. Don’t worry, says Aiden, everything will be alright.
Aiden has a way about her that is so reassuring and so friendly. Well, she is reassuring and friendly, but this is different. Sometimes, when she talks to people, they are so reassured by her friendliness that they’re almost in a trance. When this happens, Aiden just smiles and carries on with the rest of her day, like nothing is out of the usual.
Fatal Flaw ”What flaws?” Aiden is a compulsive liar. Part of that, is her disarming ways, how she needs to cheer everyone up, but the other part of it is, that she feels like she needs to lie all the time.
Talents **Compulsion. Okay, so every once in a while, Aiden uses compulsion on people. She can’t use it very well, only with little things, and it really drains out her energy when she does. **Sword throwing. Aiden is pretty good at sword throwing, or more like dagger throwing. She gets in the target all the time.
Weapons See this necklace? Well, you better hope I have it on if we ever run into a monster.” Aiden’s necklace turns into a dagger when she says, Δέρματος βαθιά.

When the time walks by, I have nothing to say
Name “Guten tag! I’m Erika.” Erika Evonne Eichel.
Birthday “I was born in August.” Erika’s birthday is August 15, 1992
Gender “I’m a . . . girl . . .”
God Parent “Athena, the Goddess of wisdom, war, and strategy.”
Claimed “Why do you think I know who my God parent is? Gosh, these interviewers aren’t very intellectual.”
Mortal Family “Just my dad.” Erika’s father, Mein Eichel, felt that Germany, his home-country, was the safest place for Erika until she was ready for Camp Half Blood.
Years in Camp “Um, I think it is ten now.”
Brief History “Well, my family escaped to safety in Germany after I was born.” Erika Eichel was born in New York City at the local hospital. At six months old, her father, Mein, moved the two of them to Germany and started to rent their apartment in New York out. He moved for the safety of his daughter, plus he thought she would love Germany, and she did. In Kindergarten, when they were teaching the students to read, the young half-blood couldn’t keep still and she couldn’t read the words. Yet, the only language she knew at the time was German. A couple weeks later, she discovered that she had Dyslexia and ADHD. Her father knew she would be diagnosed soon enough.
In May of the year she would be turning eight, Erika and Mein moved back to New York City and stopped renting the apartment out. A couple weeks later, Mein made a decision that would change both of their lives. He sent his daughter to Camp Half Blood. At such a young age, Erika started to be only a summer camper. But soon, her father sent her to camp year-round for unknown reasons.
Erika was about twelve when that happened. When she was thirteen, she found out from her father, that it was because he noticed weird creatures lurking around them every once in a while. Erika knew if she stayed at camp, it would keep both her and her father safe. She continued to train at Camp Half Blood, but she sent letters to her father every week, at least once.
As for her teenage years, Erika started growing more distant from her father. She started to send the letters less often, and eventually, they just, well stopped. She focused more on studying Greek Mythology and Architecture and her training, and less on her father. She became interested in boys at the age of fifteen, which is late for most girls, but she was always focused on what she was most passionate about—war strategy.
Physical Appearance “Well, I look like every other child of Athena. Blonde hair and grey eyes.” The first thing you notice about Erika’s hair is that it’s curly, the second, it’s blonde. Her hair is the fur of a yellow lab and a golden retriever mixed together. It’s blonde like most children of Athena’s hair is. Her hair falls down to her stomach, that is, if you straighten it so that it lies flat.
Erika’s eyes are not the normal stormy grey like most children of Athena’s eyes are. Her eyes are more of a bluish gray, like the sky on cloudy day. Though she needs to wear glasses when she reads, they’re really quite beautiful. Her skin is clear, for the most part, but her face is shaped kind of weirdly. Her eyebrows are super thin, they’re almost invisible.
Erika is short, but thin. She is only five feet and three inches tall, shorter than almost every other teenager at camp. In school, she was always the shortest in her class. She also only weighs about one-hundred-and-eleven pounds, which is almost underweight for her age and height. She has a rather straight body figure, having barely any curves.
As for clothing, Erika is usually found in simple or athletic clothing, except for when she’s going out or there is a formal event at camp. In this case, she has multiple dresses for different seasons and occasions. Also, she is found wearing jeans and the orange Camp Half Blood T-shirt a lot.
Personality “My opinion doesn’t really matter, does it? Why should my personality matter?” If Erika is one thing, she is strategic. She has studied different situations and the best ways to get around them. So, you won’t be surprised when she usually has a plan coming into battle. Usually. Another thing that also comes in handy with the whole strategic thing is, she is able to analyze things well. First she starts by looking at the whole picture, then works her way into looking at the little details.
Erika is also very introverted. She tends to keep to herself. Being introverted, she seems to be a very composed kind of person. Erika denies that she is introverted, and instead, tells people she is composed. It’s not that she is shy, it’s that she likes the quiet and also, prefers not to state her opinion, because according to her, her opinion doesn’t matter. According to Erika, whoever is in authority will do whatever they want no matter what she thinks. So, why share her opinion with others.
Erika is also quite the clever girl. She is intelligent, being a child of Athena and an avid reader. She knows a lot of random facts, especially about Greek Mythology. Also, being clever helps with the being strategic thing. Even when she doesn’t know a viable way to get through a situation on the spot, it doesn’t take her an hour to figure out a new solution to the situation.
Erika, being as introverted as she is, is unenthusiastic. She doesn’t excite very easily, because that would be showing her true feelings, and she doesn’t do that. She likes to seem . . . indifferent. She’s also a kind of nerdy, dull, book-loving person. Most of the time, nerds aren’t very enthusiastic, unless they’re talking about science. Get Erika talking about architecture or Greek Mythology, and she’ll be the most enthusiastic person you ever known.
Erika has a few other little flaws here and there. She rejects change. Sometimes when something changes in her life, she tries to keep it the way it was before it changed. Unfortunately, that doesn''t really work. No one would say that she is unforgiving, but she is definitely slow to forgive. She always has to contemplate on whether what someone has done to her is forgivable and whether or not the person deserves forgiveness. Sometimes this takes a while. Lastly, Erika has a lack of self confidence. She doesn't really believe in herself.
Fatal Flaw “I can’t tell you that.” Erika has trust issues. She doesn’t feel loyalty towards anyone, nor does she feel someone is loyal to her. Maybe this’ll change someday, but, she has a hard time trusting someone. As all fatal flaws, she can’t help it.
Pets ”This . . . is Kiera.” Kiera is Erika’s pet snowy owl. Kiera has little gray speckles in her white feathers.
Talents “I have στρατηγική του πολέμου.” Erika’s main weapon is her journal and pen, two items that she always has on her hands. They transform into a boy and a quiver full of arrows when she says στρατηγική του πολέμου. There are thirty arrows in the quiver, but they only replenish every Sunday and Wednesday. That will be a real bummer if she ever goes on a quest.
Weapons ““Well, there’s Στρατηγική.” Erika has a journal full of all her blueprints. She calls it Στρατηγική, meaning strategy. All she has to do is say the Greek word, and the journal and the pencil turn into a bow and arrow.
Year-Round or Summer ”I doubt I’ve ever visited my father since I first started going to camp. I doubt he even knows what I look like.” Year-round.
Other Erika’s color is silver.
It won't matter in the end, if I'm embarrassed again.

After six hours of school I’ve had enough for the day I hit the radio dial and turn it up all the way
http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=54133641 Name “Hi! I’m Zinah!” Zinah “Zee” Grace Bayer.
Birthday ”I was born in November of 1995.” Zinah was born November 2, 1995.
Gender ”I’m a girl, thank you very much.”
God Parent “My mother is the muse of dancing!” Zinah’s mother is Terpsichore, the muse of dance.
Claimed “. . . Yes . . .”
Mortal Family ”Well, as far as I know, it’s just me and Dad. Well, there is my twin sister, but she’s not pure mortal either. Hash-tag HalfBlood.” Her father sent her to camp when she was a toddler; he was afraid of having a Demigod in he house. His name was Henry Bayer. He was a dancer too.
Years in Camp ”I’ve been here for . . . eleven years. Since I was five, almost six.”
Brief History ”Ever since I could remember, I’ve been dancing.” Zinah was born in Paris, France just minutes before her twin sister, Sienna Bayer. Their father had moved there and their God parent wanted them to be with their father as soon as possible. Shortly thereafter, Terpsichore laid Zinah and Sienna in their father’s arms and left back to Olympus in New York. Now, Henry knew they would love dancing and both have it in their blood, so as soon as they were old enough, he enrolled them in classes.
Zinah was a natural at dancing. At age three and a half, she started competing. She hasn’t been able to stop since. At age five, the Bayer family moved back to New York. Or rather, Henry moved back to New York and this was the twins first time living there, must less visiting the state. Monsters started appearing a few months later, in May of the year they would turn six. Henry made a very safe but difficult decision and sent the two to camp.
Zinah still competed, visiting her dad before and after competitions, but then headed back to camp a day or two after the competition ended. She couldn’t stay there long, and they both knew that. Sometimes, but not often, Sienna would come along too, but she didn’t really like competing. She lied dancing for fun. Then came a day, when Zinah was about fourteen. She and her sister were traveling to their father’s house three days before a competition.
Zinah opened the door to her father’s apartment, surprised to see that it was unlocked. However, when she opened the door, more surprise came, but not the good kind. She and Sienna saw their father lying dead on the floor. They knew it was from monsters and went back to camp immediately, causing Zinah to miss a competition, but this time, Zinah didn’t care. All she cared about was that her dad was dead. She was distraught. A few months later, Zinah decided to continue competitions, and dancing because she knew it would make her father happy.
Physical Appearance “My eyes are like the chocolate, melting inside my head. Haha, I don’t know.” Zinah has medium length, beach blonde hair that is just wavy. A lot of the time it can be mistaken as curly, but it’s not. It reaches down below her shoulders, but not quite to her stomach yet. She keeps her hair natural, as it is beautiful as it is. No dye and no heat appliances have ever touched this girls gorgeous hair. She does make sure her hair is brushed and always looks neat, though. She can’t go walking around looking like she just got out of bed, can she?
Unlike her twin sister, Zinah has acne problems. Nothing super bad, but her skin isn’t near perfect. She almost always has a splotch of breakouts on her forehead and she occasionally gets breakouts right under her chin. Her eyes are very brown, like chocolate, but even though she hates them, and wishes she had green or blue eyes, they’re beautiful. She has light skin, like Taylor Swift light. It’s pale and it hasn’t gotten any sun.
Zinah is tall and slender and everything a good dancer wants to be. Okay, except for the fact that she’s not the most flexible person, so she has to work on that. She is almost five foot ten inches tall and she weighs one-hundred-and-thirty-three pounds, which is pretty good for someone as tall as she is. She has an athletic build from all the competitive dancing she does. She is not as flexible as some of the dancers she competes against, which means she has to work even harder to one-up them.
Zinah doesn’t really have a selective style that she likes to wear. She wears almost anything there is. From the crazy costumes for competitions, to jeans and a shirt, to fancy dresses. One thing she doesn’t wear very often, though, is shorts. She wears them when she rehearses dances, but other than that, she doesn’t wear them. She just doesn’t like them, plus it’s easier for bugs to get to her legs if she wears shorts.
Personality ”Oh no! I have to think about this!” Other than Zinah being an amazing dancer, she isn’t artistic at all. She can’t draw, do graphics, or express her feelings through words across a page. She has no artistic ability whatsoever. Her hand isn’t exactly steady, so her handwriting is really messy and so are her drawings. She rarely ever has the muse to form words on a page, and because of Dyslexia, when she does, they make no sense. She cannot work computers at all, so there would be no chance of her excelling, much less learning how to do graphics.
Zinah is a perfectionist. Either she gives up on something or it has to be perfect. And she does give up on stuff quite often, but not dancing. Zinah would never dream of giving up dancing. She’ll work on nothing else, do nothing else, until she either gives up on that particular thing or gets it perfect. This can be good or bad, depending on the situation is and how long it takes her to complete this goal of hers. She has made her perfectionism a sort of habit.
Zinah is very outgoing; she always has something to say. She is never afraid to walk up to someone and say hello. Nor is she afraid to get up on stage and perform for a humongous crowd of people. It is in her nature. She knows how to cheer someone up when they feel down, or bring a smile to someone’s face whatever their mood may be. Zinah being outgoing, she is also quite a flirty girl. Enough said.
Zinah is responsible. When something important is placed into her hands, she makes sure it gets done. She never leaves anything important alone and she’s always looking for ways to help out. This is one of the things that contributes to her being a perfectionist, except she never gives up these things. She can’t. Zinah feels the need to do this, and it too has become a habit for her.
Fatal Flaw ”I honestly don’t know.” Zinah has over-confidence. In dancing, competing and battle she always thinks she’s going to win. Not only that, but it also really lets her down when she loses. She’ll get hyped up for something, and then when she loses she’ll get all down in the dumps and depressed for a few days, which is really bad for her, especially when she isn’t in the safety of the camps borders.
Pets ”I don’t have time for animals.”
Talents “Dancing. Most definitely.” **Dancing. Zinah is an amazing dancer. She’s been dancing since she was born, practically. She’s been dancing competitively since age five, when she was only a summer camper, but she still goes to competitions, she just does her own choreography now. She doesn’t plan on stopping anytime soon either. **Defense. Zinah is a good defensive Halfblood. While she can hardly make a hit in battle, she knows how to dodge, but maybe that’s because she dances while she does so. That’s probably what makes her have such quick instincts. It also helps when she’s climbing the wall. **Competition. Zinah is good at competition. She’s learned to watch her competitors to see how they do and make sure she does better, or at least attempt to. She always assumes she’s going to do better though.
Weapons “Χορός!” Zinah has two daggers, but they also take form of the jazz shoes she wears on her feet, changing only when she announces in a loud voice, the Greek word meaning Dance.
Year-Round or Summer ”Year-round.”
Other Her color is dancer.
I gotta dancer right on the spot, The beat's really hot; dance dance yeah!

Name “Hey I’m Wyatt.”
This camper's name is Wyatt Hamilton Jones.
Birthday ”May. I was born in May, fifteen years ago.”
Wyatt was born on a beautiful, late spring day, on May 27, 1997.
Gender ”I’m a man.”
Wyatt is a male.
God Parent ”Demeter,” said Wyatt, taking a pause before continuing, ”Goddess of agriculture.”
Wyatt's God mother is Demeter, Goddess of agriculture.
Wyatt was claimed at age thirteen.
Mortal Family ”Well, my father is Lucas Lee Jones. I don’t really like him all that much. He never really cared for me. Someone once told me that if he could, he would have dumped me off in an alley somewhere, but he promised my mother that he would care for me. I know that even though Demeter doesn’t visit her children, if at all, she cares about our safety. My father didn’t care about mine. If anything, he risked my safety and my health.”
Lucas Jones is Wyatt’s birth father. Until it was time for Wyatt to go to camp, his father told him that his birth mother had died in a massive car crash when he was only fifteen months old. That, of course, was a lie. When Wyatt was four, Mr.Jones married someone. She, after having a daughter named Spencer, died from cancer a couple years after the marriage. Lucas started abusing Wyatt after this and only stopped doing so on a regular basis once he remarried and the woman moved in with themLucas remarried when Wyatt was ten, to a lovely woman named Felicity.
”Felicity is the most appreciative and kind woman I’ve ever known. I have her to thank for almost everything since I’ve been nine. I was nine when Felicity and my father met. Don’t tell my father this, but she only married him because she wanted me to feel welcome at home. She knew I was suffering. It was the first time I had ever experienced being loved myself, instead of loving everyone else, no matter what they did to me.”
Felicity Adams Jones never judged her step-son on what he was. She loved her step-son and Wyatt adored her. Felicity was the one to care for Wyatt after he had suffered in a fire and become blind. Parting with the amazing step-mother was sorrowful for Wyatt but especially for Felicity. Felicity had always treated Wyatt as her own son. Felicity had a daughter, whom she named Sarah-Marie, when Wyatt was twelve. Felicity, however, didn’t take very kindly to her step-daughter, Spencer.
”Not even Felicity liked Spencer. Of course, Felicity and I don’t treat her unkindly. We just don’t like her. She’s a spoiled brat and she acts like she’s the best. According to her, only her opinion matters. I think that everyone’s opinion should be taken into account. She also thought I was some sort of weird and foreign creature because I’m a half blood.”
Spencer Jones is not only step-sister to Wyatt, but she is also a spoiled brat. The only child that Lucas truly loves is none other than Spencer Jones. He gives her anything and everything that she wants. She is currently ten years old, having been born when Wyatt was five years old. Wyatt never liked Spencer very much. She always made fun of him for being different, for being a half blood.
”I’m sad that I wasn’t there when Sarah-Marie was born. Not that I would be able to see her or anything. When I did go to visit her, I fell in love with her. I’m sure she was beautiful, since her mother is beautiful, not only in appearance, but also in personality. As she’s grown to three, I’ve noticed that all of her positive traits, she’s gotten from Felicity.”
The last person in the family is Sarah-Marie. There isn’t a lot to say a lot about Sarah-Marie, as she isn’t really that old yet. Sarah-Marie is about three year old, and has recently gotten past that terrible-two’s stage. She is daughter to Lucas and Felicity and everyone loves her. Everyone except for Spencer. This is because Spencer likes to be the center of attention, and it’s hard to be that with a baby or even a toddler in the house.
Years in Camp “Four. I came here when I was eleven. Anyone can do that kind of math.”
After Wyatt went blind and Felicity cared for him for multiple months on end, he was sent to Camp Half Blood. He didn’t want to go, to leave the step-mother that treated him so well and so like a birth mother should, but now he’s glad he did. He is glad he hasn’t had to been around his father all year for the past four years.
Brief History ”My birth mother died when I was still a baby. I was just fifteen months old. At least, that’s what I was told. Now I know the truth. After that, I could see up until I was engulfed in a fire. Somehow, I survived. I can no longer seen now, but at least I’ve adjusted. The next huge event was my coming to camp when I had just turned eleven. I was later claimed when I was thirteen.”
Wyatt was born in New York, New York, in May of 1997. The first thing he remembers is his mothers smile. It’s the only memory he has of his mother. At the age of three days old, he was sent to his father, Lucas Jones, to live. As a toddler, the first and most interesting thing, at least for him, that he got into were plants. He became obsessed with plants. Lucas thought that his son had ruined the plants, but soon they both learned that Lucas’s garden had been healed, getting better rather than getting worse. Every time after Wyatt got into plants or his father’s garden his energy would start to deplete and we wouldn’t be very energetic.
Wyatt hated his first step-mother. She was evil and treated him like someone would treat rats. He’s not afraid to admit he liked it when she died. He never liked her daughter either. She was too bratty in his opinion, which was the truth. In Kindergarten and first grade, Wyatt’s teachers noticed he was suffering academically, but he wasn’t tested for Dyslexia until he was in second grade. He was however, tested for ADHD in first grade and both tests came out positive.
At age nine, when Wyatt was almost ten, Lucas Jones told his son that he was a half blood and soon he would need to go to Camp Half Blood soon. When Wyatt was ten, Felicity married to his Father, Lucas. Wyatt adored Felicity. She also loved plants, something the two shared in common. A few months after the wedding. A couple drakons, engulfed Wyatt in a fire. Wyatt was saved by none other than Felicity, but he was left blind. She cared for him, until he was able to start living without his sight. The fire was the only reason why Wyatt didn’t go to camp sooner. He wouldn’t be able to live, having just gone blind.
A year after arriving at camp, Wyatt heard news of another girl being born into the Jones family. He went home for a month to meet his newest step-sister, Sarah-Marie Elizabeth Jones. He fell in love with her immediately; he is usually a very loving person. However, he soon had to return to camp because he didn’t want monsters showing up at his family’s front door. He had his first girlfriend when he was fifteen, but it didn’t last. He knew it wouldn’t, but he had expected it to go on for longer than three weeks. Now, he stays at camp for most of the year, going home only for half of November and all of December.
Physical Appearance ”I like keeping my hair cut short and I have a tan from gardening and farming. I wouldn’t necessarily call myself the most attractive guy out there, but I’m not ugly.”
Wyatt’s hair is not styled in that buzz cut way, but he does like to keep it short and trimmed. He feels as if it gets in his way of gardening and farming if it’s any longer. His hair is short, brown, coarse and kept neat. He takes a lot of care for it. It doesn’t feel like fabric when you run your hands through it, but more like the sand on a beach. It does not curl or even wave. It is just straight.
Wyatt’s eyes are gorgeous. They’re a piercing green. They just seem to glow, whatever this mood. However, they look glossy and when he look at you, you see two glossy eyes that see to stare at you. Wyatt can’t help this; he doesn’t know if he’s actually looking at you or not. His skin tone is darker than some because of a tan he got while out in the sun tending to different plants. Lucas Jones having been born and raised in England, Wyatt has a slight british accent. His smile may be simple, but it’s kind of cute. His teeth are neat, straight, and pearly white, but he doesn’t like to show them off.
Wyatt Jones has an average height for a man, or at least he likes to think so. He stands at five feet, ten and a half inches. This may seem tall, but he doesn’t grow much anymore. He will be lucky if he grows half an inch this year. He isn’t very athletic, but he does have some muscle in his legs. However, the place where he has the most muscle is in his arms. This is because of agricultural reasons. Wyatt is a skinny young man. He weights one hundred and thirty seven pounds.
Wyatt doesn’t really have a set style, except he doesn’t like to wear anything that is too hot. During the colder seasons, you will probably find him in more of a farmer get up; jeans or overalls and a flannel shirt with sturdy tennis shoes or boots. However during the warmer seasons, Wyatt feels more free to wear shorts. He doesn’t have a specific style or brand of shorts that he prefers. He accompanies his shorts with either a tank top that is slightly too large for him (it’s hard to find things in his size sometimes) or a flannel shirt with the sleeves rolled all the way up, sometimes he even cuts them off out of frustration.
Personality ”Well, I care about others. I try and think about others before I think about myself. I’ve been called selfless before. I also believe that I can do something in this world, to change it. I think I can do something in this world to make it better. I believe I can do anything I set my mind to. I seem to have an opinion about everything.”
Wyatt Jones is one of the most empathetic and selfless people you will ever meet. He thinks about others and their feelings before he thinks about himself or his own feelings. Sometimes he even ignores his own feelings for the benefits of others, especially those he cares about. This trait is probably driven from his past. How he was abused by his father and his step-mother ignored what she thought and married Lucas to save Wyatt. The only thing that Wyatt has to share, is his opinion, but that’ll come up later.
Wyatt is optimistic. He believes everything will work out in a positive way in the future. He also thinks he can change the world, in an agricultural way. And maybe that will change the world as a whole. His number one goal is to stop global warming. He knows he can’t reverse it, but he wants to slow it down as soon as possible and hopefully stop it some day. Besides others, this is Wyatt’s top priority. However, Wyatt isn’t only optimistic about this, he is optimistic about so many other things, it would take a long time just to list all of them.
Being not only a gardener, but also a farmer, Wyatt is incredibly hard-working. If he needs to, he’ll work all night at something, especially if it’s plant related. Most of the time, however, he doesn’t need to. This is because if he is anything, it is not a procrastinator. However, it doesn’t stop just there. Sometimes, Wyatt feels as though he has to do something even though he doesn’t have to.
Wyatt is a very joyous person. He looks for the best in things and in people. Something will happen and while others will think of it as bad, Wyatt will find the good in that thing and be joyful about whatever happened. If that makes any sense. He can take any situation and if it’s bad, make it good and be joyous about it. He basically finds the good in things and rejoices about it.
Wyatt is a over-confident young man. He believes he can do anything, as long as he sets his mind to it. Unfortunately, that’s not how it goes. He could think he can save the world from eventual destruction, but eventually, he will either realize he failed or the world will be destroyed. Even if Wyatt ever realizes that he can’t do everything, he will probably still try. He believes that we were meant to make a difference on Earth.
Wyatt is a very competitive person. If he ever gets in an argument over something like swordsmanship, archery, or even who’s better with plants, he’ll be the first to challenge the other person to a match or contest to see which one of them is better than the other. It doesn’t only have to be these three topics, it can be anything. And besides, it probably won’t be archery since that isn’t his strong point.
This next flaw is only because of Wyatt’s past. Our son of Demeter is a fearful person. He fears life, fears every combative moment because of his childhood. Because of him being abused and him becoming blind, he fears having to go into battle. He would much rather stay at home and tend to his plants than go fight in a war, or even a game of Capture the Flag.
And we come to Wyatt’s last known flaw. This is the flaw that is the only exception to his being selfless and empathetic. The son of Demeter is strongly opinionated. He has an opinion about everything. Whether he shares his opinion or not, he still has an opinion. The one good thing about Wyatt is most of the time, he tries to use control and decide whether or not he should share his opinion. That doesn’t always work though.
Fatal Flaw ”A flaw about myself that can be fatal? Hmm ... I’m not really sure any of my flaws are necessarily fatal. Let me think about that one ...”
Wyatt’s optimism is his fatal flaw. He thinks that he can do anything and he can change the world. Whenever he fails at something he gets all depressed and doesn’t do anything until he recovers, which can take anywhere from a week to two months, depending on what it is. If he gets attacked by a monster, it will be the end of Wyatt Hamilton Jones.
Pets ”Well, of course I have a pet. I have to have a guide dog, sillies. My dog’s name is Blizzard.”
Blizzard is a female, white, german shepherd that Wyatt uses as his best friend and guide dog. Blizzard and Wyatt share an empathy link and have known each other since Wyatt was eleven and realized that he needed a dog to help him get around camp. You cannot separate these two even for a moment. They really are best friends, even if Blizzard is a dog and Wyatt is a human—a half blood, but still, a human.
Talents ”Well, my talents are centered around plants, considering I am indeed a son of Demeter. I know this is all strange for you. You’re probably asking yourself, ‘How is it possible that Wyatt can tend to a garden AND a farm when he’s blind?’ I feel the plants to determine what kind they are. Sure, I risk poison ivy or poison oak, but Blizzard can sniff that out for me.”
Green Thumb: Wyatt can literally just touch a plant with the wish that it will come back to life and it will come back to life. However the bigger the plant, the more energy this power takes takes from her. Healing trees is rather difficult. He has yet to learn how to heal them back to their ‘healthiest’ state, and he cannot heal trees if they are already dead. When he does heal them, it depletes almost all of his energy, causing him to be close to fainting. When Wyatt first discovered he had this power, he could hardly heal berry bushes and plants for vegetables without being close to fainting. It took him a lot of practice to get this far.
Plant Control: Wyatt isn’t really fond of using this power, but whenever he is in trouble, it just happens on instinct. Plants shoot out of the ground usually vines and give him a sort of shield. He can’t use this power defensively and when he does use this power, his energy drains quickly, as though he is attempting to heal a tree. So, while he is using this power, it is rather difficult for him to fight in an offensive way.
Weapons ”It is difficult for me to fight, as one of my senses is oh, handicapped? However, I can throw weapons if I hear my opponents.”
Wyatt has four knives, two secured to his belt, on either side of his waist. He uses them to throw at his opponent. Once he finishes in battle, they return to his waist, but if he runs out, unless he comes across one while in battle, he is done for. It’s not really the best choice of weapon but Wyatt can’t handle a bow and his hands would easily be cut off if he used a sword or a dagger in battle.
Year-Round or Summer That is kind of confusing. Okay, it’s not that confusing, but some people might get confused. I’m not here all year long, but I don’t stay for just the summer either.”
Wyatt stays almost all year long, leaving only for the month of December and occasionally the last half of November, to visit his family. So, Wyatt’s not a summer camper, but he doesn’t spend every single day living at camp either. It’s really not confusing, but the way Wyatt said it, might have been, since he didn’t explain in depth.
Other ”This was all very strange for me. I don’t usually talk about myself. I didn’t really like it either. But um, thanks for the interest, I guess.”
Wyatt’s play-by is Julian Morris. His color is tan.

Name: Olivia Contessa Frost Gender: Female Age: Seventeen years of age Birthday: December 29, 1994 Godly Parent: Khione (Xάoς) goddess of snow and ice Claimed: Yes Years at Camp: Three Years
Mortal Family: • Alan Frost (Father): Allan Frost is Olivia’s, rather distant father. Allan is a scientist who specializes in the study of arctic animals and foliage. He’s always in Antarctica and other to arctic climates doing research. Even during Olivia’s childhood, he was hardly ever around. Although he’s very respected in his field, he often gets too distracted with work. If he is at home, he’s in his office doing more research on his findings when he was out in the field.
"My dad has always been really distant. When we were growing up, my and my brother, I was the one to take care of the family. We had a nanny, but really I was the one taking care of Tyler. After mom died, it was even worse. Dad became even more distant and unemotional. Who could blame him, after I killed his wife. I didn't do it on purpose! I just didn't know what my powers were yet...and they had just kicked in. He is a good dad, though. He's the one that gave me Blanca."
• Tyler Frost (Brother): Tyler Frost is Olivia’s younger brother. He’s three years younger than Olivia and was rather babied by Olivia from the time he was born. Olivia had been more a mother to him since their step-mother, Tyler’s mother, died out in the field with their father.
"Tyler is my baby brother. Yes, my full brother, he just doesn't know it yet. I wanted to take him with me to Camp, but I was too dangerous. If I couldn't touch him, I couldn't protect him. He probably hates me for leaving him, but it was the best choice. I've tried to send him Iris messages, but he never answers. Hopefully dad will send him to camp before it's too late. Sometimes I wonder if I should go up and get him, but I can't leave. That would put him in even more danger..."
"My history is just that, history. I don't really see much of a need to dwell on it. But, if you must know... I was born in Switzerland, which made the fact that I always had snow and frost around me much easier to hide. I thought I was normal, because there was almost always snow where I lived and everyone looked blue and frozen. Boy was I wrong. I'm not normal, and that became perfectly clear to me when one mistake lead to my life crumbling. My powers kicked in after we all moved to New York. Then I realized that it wasn't normal to have snow swirling around you and to be covered in ice. I also learned that I was deadly. At the time I didn't know what my ability was, but I knew that whatever I touched died. The first thing to hit the blunt of that curse was my step-mother. I killed her. I froze her to the bone. After I ran away I learned what my ability was with some training and help from my cabin. And I learned that I'm a freak. Oh well, I guess we're all freaks in one way or another."
Olivia was born in a small town in Switzerland. The town was located in the mountains, so there was snow almost all year round. Olivia grew up in cold weather, and at the time, being covered in frost like the rest of the villagers, she believed herself to be normal. However, when the family moved from their home town to New York for Mr. Frost’s work, Olivia quickly found out she was far more different than the rest of the world. Her lips were almost always tinted blue along with the tips of her fingers, as though she was frozen to the bone. She found that even in the warmest of weather, her skin was cold to the touch and often made others cold when they got too near to her. She was mocked in school but also feared for how frozen she seemed to be. When Tyler’s mother and Olivia’s step mother died, Lisa Frost, Olivia took the role as mother for young Tyler. She helped the nanny to raise him from the time he was little. Lisa Frost froze to death and at the time, when they were still in Switzerland, everyone believed it to be the fault of the cold, harsh winters. But Olivia knew better. She knew that it was her fault her step mother was dead, but she told no one. However, when Olivia realized who she was and that she was a danger to Tyler, she was forced to run away. Now and again Olivia will try to call Tyler with an Iris message, but he never responds. Olivia arrived at camp when she was 13 years old. She was claimed almost immediately and has been at camp ever since.
"I'm tall, with a gangly frame. I have very long, reddish-blonde hair, icy pale skin, and blue eyes. There's not much else to tell, really. I guess I'm sort of pretty, but it's not really something I worry about. I don't see a need to focus on the way you look. It's not like you can really change it, and there's always going to be something, so why worry about it?"
Olivia has a rather hauntingly beautiful appearance. She wouldn’t be described as an ideal beauty, but there’s still some capturing aura about her that causes people to stop and stare. She stands at about 5’7” in height. Olivia has a thin, rather boyish figure, rather than having curves like most teenage girls. However, this boyish figure only adds to her strange, haunting beauty. Olivia has long, gangly arms and limbs and a short, stout torso. Olivia’s arms and legs are considered “toothpick thin” and appear as though they will snap like twigs with any sort of pressure. Because of that, she isn’t very strong or muscular. Her hands and fingers are long and claw-like. Olivia’s skin is pale and is always as cold as ice. She hardly has any color in her face other than the apples of her cheeks from time to time. Her lips and finger tips are almost always tinted blue, as though she’s frozen solid. This is what makes everyone wary of her, because of her icy appearance. Olivia has an oval shaped face. Her nose is a bit on the larger scale, but it wouldn’t be considered a beak. She has strong, prominent cheek bones, which is part of her Swiss heritage. Her eyes are thin and long. They are framed by her dark eye lashes and often different colors of eyeshadow. Her irises are a bright, shining shade of and ice blue. When you stare into them, they almost make you feel as though you’ve become colder. Olivia often doesn’t show much expression in her face, however, that’s only because she doesn’t want to. When she wants to lighten up, she does. Olivia has long, dark blonde hair. It’s very thin and wavy And reaches almost down to the small of her back. Her hair is darker and lighter in various places and depending on where you look in her hair the color could be considered blonde, light brown or strawberry blonde. This is simply from natural color variation and sun exposure. Olivia has long bangs that she often keeps tucked behind her slightly crooked ears. Olivia tends to wear winter-like clothing because the atmosphere around her almost always is below freezing and sometimes her cold temperatures can even cause snow. However, it will only snow around her. To stay warm from herself, she usually wears coats and long pants and boots. She doesn’t need to wear these things, since she hardly ever feels as cold as she actually is, but she chooses to wear them anyway.
"I try to push people away for their own safety. Well, I did. Once I actually let people know about the ability I can't control, I've been able to be more friendly. But I still try to keep everyone at arms length. Figuratively speaking, of course. I don't want to get too attached to anyone, because then I might accidentally get too near them, and that can't happen."
Olivia is rather cold, unemotional, and calloused. She doesn’t show much expression in anything, but that’s a conscious choice. She is independent. Ever since she was the one with the responsibility of taking care of her younger brother, she has never believed that she needed anyone else to help her. She’ll simply respond with “I can do it myself” or “I’ve got it handled” and wave away the offer of help dismissively. Olivia also never believes that she needs any friends, she’ll come up with excuses that she prefers to be alone or she doesn’t need anyone else, but those are all just covers. The truth is, any friend she makes leaves in an instant when they realize how dangerous and uncontrollable her abilities are. She keeps herself away from people to try and make sure she doesn’t hurt anyone. Olivia, since she was made fun of for her “frosty” appearance, handles rudeness quiet well. She simply gives a dry, indifferent remark on the subject and walks away. However, on the inside, she is criticizing herself for her curse more than anyone else ever had. Olivia, while she doesn’t seem it, is very caring and loyal. She does have a caring heart towards people, but because of her uncontrollable powers, she attempts to keep them away with biting, dry remarks, indifference, and simply an unfriendly nature. Olivia is very dedicated. Everyday she trains and trains to try and master her abilities so she may one day return home to her brother, but her efforts, for the past three years, have failed. Olivia always puts others first. She could go around and simply let others face the consequences of continued exposure to her, but she doesn’t. She takes the rude remarks people give, the rumors and the snickers to keep everyone safe from harm and safe from the painful death her step-mother had.
"We're not supposed to know our fatal flaws, otherwise they're not exactly fatal. Some people do, but I don't really know what mine is. I have my theories, but I can't be sure. "
Olivia’s fatal flaw is that she puts other before herself. She suffers so much for people that don’t even like her and doesn’t say a work about it. She simply tells herself ‘it’s for the best’ and ‘if they knew they’d understand’. She obsesses over keeping everyone safe from her so much that she sometimes forgets to care for herself.
"Blanca is...umm... Spirited. She's kind of like that devil on your shoulder that keeps urging you to do things? She's not evil, just sort of sarcastic is all. But she's always there for me. She really is my best friend. Sometimes people look at my strangely when they see me talking to a fox, but they don't realize that we can communicate. Anyway, I don't know what I would do without her. She's the only creature that's immune to my ability. "
Olivia has a single companion that is immune to her icy curse. It’s a small, female, arctic fox that she fondly calls Blanca. Blanca was brought back by her father on one of his trips. She was a wounded, abandoned fox pup that Allan Frost took in and nursed back to health. He then brought the arctic fox back to be Olivia’s pet. Olivia found that she could communicate telepathically with Blanca and that the fox was immune to her powers, so that fox soon became her only true friend and loyal companion.
"Heh, talents. I wouldn't exactly call my powers talents, more like curses. They just make life harder, and it's just tiring. I shouldn't have to worry about my abilities, I should be able to control them just like everyone else, but I can't. And no matter how hard I try, they're always stronger than I am."
• Hyperfreeze: This is her main “talent”, though she views it as a curse. When she has any sort of contact (any kind of physical contact) with any living thing for more than five seconds, a poisonous ice that dwells within the top layers of her skin seeps through and into the victim’s blood stream. It then begins to attack the vital organs and freezes the victim from the inside out. If the victim is exposed to extreme heat while the ice is active, the ice will melt and be flushed out of their system. That’s the only cure to stopping the poisonous, spreading ice. Because of this icy curse she does not have contact with any living thing. • Atmospheric Difference: The atmosphere within a one meter radius of her, at all times, is like winter.. It’s often below 20º. Her presence often brings light layers of snow and ice, which is why she wears wintery clothes all the time. • Ice and Snow Cnotrol: Olivia is able to control both ice and snow. She can morph the two elements into different shades and often uses them to make her weapons. The control of snow is minor at the moment, but she has almost mastered ice. She can not, however, simply form ice out of mid air. She can to have snow or water to create the ice, but because of the Atmospheric Difference that she causes, a lack of ice of snow is never a problem.
"I don't really have a set weapon. Since I'm not very muscular, I can't really lift a sword, throw a spear, or shoot an arrow. And don't even get me started on hammers. And my accuracy with daggers is kind of sad. So I make weapons out of ice. If there's moisture in the air, I can make ice."
Olivia does not have one specific weapon. She simply makes each of them out of ice. She also isn’t very strong, so most weapons are too heavy for her to handle, so she tends to simply rely on her control over ice to win battles that she’s in.
Year-Round or Summer: Year-Round Other: Her color is skyblue. Not open for dibs.

Name: “Hey there. I’m Riley McMillian, but you don’t have to worry about the McMillian part.”
The teenage boy’s name is Riley Benjamin McMillian. He’s fine with being called Riley, but doesn’t really it all that much when people add on the last name.
Age/Birthday: ”I just turned sixteen.”
Riley McMillian was born on June 23, 1997, making him just barely sixteen.
Gender: “Are you blind?”
Riley is a guy, so yes, he is a male.
God Parent: “Isn’t it obvious? Didn’t my teeth blind you like the sun when I smiled at you?”
Riley’s father is Apollo, the god of the sun and bad music.
Claimed: “Is that some sort of trick question? Yes, I’m claimed!”
Riley was claimed by Apollo when he was thirteen, almost fourteen years old. Which means he’s been claimed for about three years now.
Mortal Family: “Ugh, do we have to talk about that side of the family? I’d rather not think about them right now. Or anytime, really. Let’s just avoid that topic, altogether.”
Riley is the middle child in a large family of five kids. His mother, Amanda McMillian, is a published author of children’s poems. In her free time, she goes to the local library and reads them out to the other children. It was such a disappointment to her when Riley wasn’t a good reader. Amanda married to George Orwell in January of 1993, but she kept her maiden name. Soon she gave birth to twin girls, Hayley and Amy Orwell, in March of 1994. In late 1996, she had an affair with Apollo and in early June the following year gave birth to Riley. She and her husband split up, but ended up getting back together before the divorce papers were final. Amanda and George then had a boy in 2000 and a girl in 2005 and the rest is history.
Hayley and Amy Orwell are twin sisters and the eldest of the McMillian-Orwell family. They both have the same dark brown, almost black curly hair that most of the family has. You can only tell them apart from their eyes. They always treated Riley like he was some sort of freak; the reason Mommy and Daddy broke, etc. They are a little over two years older than Riley is and currently go to the same college together. They have never made an effort to contact Riley, in fear that he would hurt one of them with his bow and arrow. Born in 1999, Fred Orwell is the only son of George Orwell. He has the same hair as his twin sisters and a similar personality. Whenever her mother and father have bad arguments he tends to blame his half-brother, Riley, even though he knows deep down that it wasn’t his fault Hat he was born into the McMillain-Orwell family. He does try to stay in contact with his half-brother though, unlike his older sisters who ignore Riley altogether.
In 2004, a little girl with blonde hair was born, five years after the birth of the previous Orwell child. The family decided to name her Hope. So far, Hope’s had trouble in school, which so far had only happened to Riley. She loves to sing and write songs. Hope would be the only reason Riley ever went back to his home. She was the sweetest person in that house and never had treated Riley like scum and she continues to love her big brother, even though he’s been gone since she was five.
Years in Camp: ”I’ve been at camp since Hope was about five. I think she’s eight now. Gods, I hope she’s doing alright by herself there.”
Riley’s been at camp since Hope was five. Now that she’s eight years old, that means Riley’s been living at camp for a little over three years now.
Brief History: ”Ugh, that’s almost worse than asking about my family back in Manhattan.”
Just like his family, his history before Camp Half Blood is a pretty touchy subject as well. In fact, his family is probably the reason why his past sucks so much. Up until Camp Half Blood, he blamed his stepfather for taking his mother away from his father, whom he would later find out was Apollo. Part of Riley’s reasoning was most likely due to the fact that his stepfather always treated him like scum, which later resulted in the majority of his siblings treating him the same way. Riley wanted nothing more than to run away, but then his mother gave birth to his little sister.
Hope was the sweetest thing that had been born into Riley’s family, and he now thanks the gods for that, because without Hope Orwell he would have ran away a lot sooner than he did. In Kindergarten, Hope started having trouble with her studies, which scared Riley because he did not want her to take after him. This caused him to run away from home, in the hope that she would not remember him. After all, she was the only one in the family, besides his mother, who didn’t treated him like he was good for nothing.
Riley ran away from his home in Chicago, what else could he do to prevent his sister from taking the same cursed path that he took in school, and out of school. Not too long after he ran away, did a satyr find him. The satyr told him that they were in Madison, the capitol of Wisconsin, but that they needed to. They ran across the country, his new friend running in the oddest way possible. What was even stranger was that in Detroit, Michigan, his new friend gave him a bow, with a quiver full of arrows. Riley found this really strange, but he kept on trekking on, until they got to New York.
Riley was tired by the time he got to Buffalo, which was also about the time when weird things started happening to him and his new friend, Harold. He started hearing sounds in the skies that sounded like neither bird nor plane. Harold hurried him along as he told him that the time that his bow and arrow would come to use. They ran into Riley’s first, and so far last, Greek monster in Ithaca, New York (haha The Odyssey). Riley was surprisingly able to kill the griffin that chased them in three shots. They were then able to safely reach Manhattan.
When he found camp, he instantly fell in love with the place. Camp was his home, where he felt the most relaxed. After learning that most of the Demigods have ADHD or Dyslexia, if not both, he hoped that Hope is a Demigod too. Riley was twelve when he was claimed by Apollo, a year after he found camp. Now he spends most of his time practicing his arching skills, at the beach, or playing a good old game of Basketball with his half-siblings.
Physical Appearance: ”Aren’t you looking at me at this very moment, oh smart one?”
Riley McMillian has long hair for a boy. He does not really bother cutting it too often, causing his neck to get really sweaty during the summer months, especially when he is practicing archery or sword fighting. His hair stops just above his shoulders and is sandy blonde, like the sand at a beach. It is slightly wavy, but not coarse at all. His hair is smooth, but also a little messy.
Riley McMillian has an intimidating, yet cute face. His eyes are said to be beautiful. His eyes are golden brown. The irises of his eyes are brown, mixed with flecks of gold. He has got smooth, tan skin that rarely gets any blemishes, only a mole here or there. He has a nice smile, but it always seems to be more of a cocky grin than a genuine smile. He has a thin face, with dignified lines that displays the edges of his jaws and his defined cheek bones.
Riley is very muscular. Riley is not buff or in any way big boned or big muscled (is that even a thing?) though, he has a lean muscularity to him. Riley is five feet and eleven inches tall, just barely under six feet, weighing in at one hundred sixty three pounds, he is light for having lots of muscle, only a little over the average for his height. A year ago, Riley was able to get a couple tattoos that run near his neck and on his arms. He isn’t afraid to hide them, as he believes they define who he is as a person.
Riley McMillian likes to wear black. It is not that he is gothic or emo, or whatever you want to call it, it is just his style. He will always be seen wearing his black jacket, usually equipped with a blue or black shirt, with black yeans and combat boots, no matter what the weather. It is unlikely that Riley will ever be seen wearing anything else, except for his Camp Half Blood shirt every once in a blue moon.
Personality: ”Well, aren’t you the intuitive one.”
Riley McMillian is incredibly sarcastic, and sometimes even rude. He tries to use his dry humor in every conversation he has. If he can make something sound sarcastic in a conversation, he will not let anyone down. He is not afraid of hurting someone’s feelings by his words towards something someone says, in fact, he would not be bothered at all if that did happen.
Riley is also a compulsive liar, especially if he feels as though the truth is going to hurt somebody. He will lie to protect them. Riley McMillian sometimes lies just because he does not want to admit the truth. The other times that he is lying, he is doing so because he just feels like lying. Lying comes like a second nature to him, but he doesn’t lie all the time.
Riley is really a very caring person. He does not want to hurt anyone’s feelings. This fact about Riley is what makes him such a compulsive liar. He is afraid that if he tells someone the truth he might hurt them, or put them in mortal peril. Also, he will heal anyone at camp, his friend or not, because he feels that one day they might have to work together and it won’t do to have a teammate injured.
Finally, with the exception of being afraid to hurt others, Riley McMillian is fearless. He would stand up against any monster, no matter how big or dangerous the monster may be. He’s also prideful this way. He feels as though it’s a necessity to stand up against the monsters because of his fearlessness. He feels as though it would ruin his reputation if he didn’t stand up to them.
Fatal Flaw: ”I don’t know if you know this, but most of us Demigods don’t know our fatal flaw and I’m one of those.”
Riley McMillian’s fatal flaw is not his compulsive lying, but his pride. It may kill him one day. Someday, he may stand up to fight against a monster that’s above his rank, but there won’t be anybody to help him. Being prideful, he’d have to go up against the monster because he is so prideful. His pride will someday kill him.
Pets: ”I have a duck. No wait, it’s a tiger.”
No, Riley’s duck is not a tiger, but he does have a duck. Well, duckling would be a more precise word for it. He shares an empathy link with this duck, Sebastian.
Talents: ”Why, I’m a man of many talents.”
*Healing: Riley McMillian is a brilliant healer. He can heal almost anything, though it may take some time and effort into figuring out what the patient needs in order to be healed. Though, usually he is able to figure out what needs to be done pretty quickly.
*Blinding Light: Riley usually tries to stray away from this talent, as the light burns him if he uses it too powerfully or for too long. A blinding light will erupt from his palms, though the heat from the light burns him. The brighter the light the more it hurts.
*Archery: Riley McMillian is an excellent archer like almost every other child of Apollo at camp. He can make his arrows go incredible distances, thought the farther the arrow goes the less accurate Riley is.
Weapons: ”Say hello to my backpack.”
Riley McMillian always carries a backpack with him. When he says the Greek word for sun, ήλιος his backpack transforms into a bow, quiver full of arrows, and a knife in its sheath. If someone were to open the backpack, they would find only the others things that Riley stores inside it, but all the weapons are still there. The quiver slowly replenishes arrows, but only when it’s inside the backpack.
Year-Round or Summer: ”I’m a year-round camper, obviously.”
Other: Riley’s horrible with poems and anything that involves story telling. Riley’s color is orange. His play-by is Jamie Campbell Bower.
Subject: The Fault in Jess's Stars [-Logan Shipper- RFA] Sun Oct 13, 2013 12:56 am
Name: ”Hey. I’m Logan Shipper. It’s…erm, nice to meet you.” A teenage boy sat in a cave, using the light from a lantern to read. Lots of campers knew him as they guy who read more than he did socialize. Those who didn’t know him as that, albeit only a few, knew him as Logan Shipper.
Age/Birthday: ”My birthday is December twenty-first.” Logan Shipper was born on December 21, 1997, making him fifteen, almost sixteen.
Gender: ”Gee, thanks for the vote of confidence.” Logan is, as you can tell by the name, a male.
God Parent: ”Why would you want to know that. It doesn’t matter unless my mom is somebody important.” The Demi-God is a son of Hecate, minor goddess of magic and crossroads. He can sometimes be bitter towards her.
Claimed: ”Yes. Haven’t figured that out have you?” Yes, Logan is claimed, but he doesn’t like it a lot of the time, in fact he’s insecure about his god parent.
Mortal Family: ”Well, my biological dad is Brandon Shipper, and he’s not married, but he’s engaged to this fortune teller named Julia Mountains. They’ve been dating for a while and had a girl together. Her name is Delia Shipper.” Logan’s father, Brandon Shipper, is a con artist in the New Jersey area. He is currently engaged to Logan’s step-mother to-be, Julia Mountains. Julia is one of those voodoo fortune-tellers. Before getting engaged, Logan’s father and Julia had a baby girl, Delia Shipper, who at this point in time, is eight months old. Yeah, talk about dysfunctional families.
Years in Camp: ”You know, you could just look at my necklace beads. I wear it all the time.” Logan Shipper has been residing at Camp Half Blood for the past four years, but he was just claimed last year.
Brief History: ”I’ve had a pretty, oh what’s the word, dysfunctional life so far. What can you expect when you’re the spawn of a goddess. I obviously can’t remember much about my early life, so you’ll have to ask somebody who knew me about that, but I remember around the age of ten I started to be able to control things around me. I didn’t need a match to light something on fire. That’s another thing: I loved playing with fire.” Logan Shipper was born only a few days before Christmas, on the winter solstice. In his infancy, he was always a sort of trouble maker and his hyperactivity in preschool made his ADHD highly evident. His teachers also began noting that he always seemed to be involved in troublesome events at school, one way or another. The teachers wondered why this didn’t bother his father more than it should, but Mr. Shipper knew Logan would eventually be making his way to Camp Half Blood. Logan started elementary school and was immediately diagnosed with a severe case of Dyslexia, but he wasn’t going to let that get to him. He learned to read, though struggling behind the rest of his classmates, and soon he was reading on a regular basis, for fun. His love for reading has continued on throughout the years and still reigns above many things in his life. Then the first signs of being someone special started to show up in Logan life when he was ten, and before he knew it, he could light a fire without using a match. He soon developed a fascination with fire and it did go away. He also realized that he brought a dead crumpled leave back to its autumn color. He was fascinated by this, but then the leaf got carried into the fire he was playing with by the wind. At age twelve, it was time for Logan Shipper to start making his way to New York, so he and his dad took a trip from New Jersey to Manhattan, New York. It took three years at Camp Half Blood before he was claimed by Hecate, but after that everything he was able to do made sense to him. He continued practicing his magic, and can now do more than he was able to do before coming to Camp Half Blood.
Physical Appearance: ”Um, well I look like… I look like this. Just come up to me and get a look for yourself. No don’t do that. It makes me really uncomfortable when people stare at me, even for short periods of time.” Logan Shipper has curly brown hair that isn’t too short, but not too long either. It’s the perfect length. He also styles it a certain way, every morning too. He doesn’t leave his cabin until his hair is styled correctly. He’s particular that way. Logan’s eyes are a little darker than his hair color. His eyes are as brown as dark chocolate. Logan has a slight tan, but it’s nothing to boast about, especially standing next to children of Aphrodite. His skin complexion is slightly oily, so it’s no surprise that he does get the occasional zit every once in a while. Logan has a tendency to forget to shave, and when he does he grows a light stubble, not enough to form a beard quite yet. Logan Shipper isn’t very muscular. If it wasn’t for a little added weight that he put on to prevent being called this, people would make fun of him by calling him scrawny—they already call him all sorts of other names behind his back. Logan is also not quite six feet tall, but not extremely short for a guy either, standing at five feet ten inches. He weighs on average, about one hundred fifty five pounds, but it tends to fluctuate, depending on his mood. Logan has a strange sense of style that isn’t really like other’s his age. He tends to wear shoes that are kind of out there, instead of the normal basketball shoes, or converse. As for other clothing? Yeah he wears his Camp Half Blood shirt or another T-shirt quite often, but when it comes to jeans, he likes to roll up the bottoms so that they end right above his ankles, rather than going past them. During the winter, he enjoys wearing sweaters.
Personality: ”I don’t really pay much attention to my own personality, but I tend to spend a lot of my free time alone, usually reading. For some reason, a lot of people think I’m reading up on hexes to use on other campers here, but I just like reading.” Logan Shipper is a book fanatic and because of this, he spends most of his free time alone. His favorite spot to read is inside a cave in the forest. He always brings a lantern or something and uses magic to light it, unless he has a match, which he usually doesn’t. A lot of people tend to find him sitting alone, another reason for this being that he doesn’t trust the other campers, and in many cases, he doesn’t like them for their parental lineage. ”I don’t like most of the other campers. It’s really unfair being separated into cabins by godly parent. I mean most children of minor gods and goddesses don’t even get a cabin named after their parent.” Logan is envious of children of the twelve Olympians. He seems to think that they think their better than children of the minor gods just because of who their parents are. Sure, he’s one of the lucky ones, only having to share a cabin with other children of Hecate, but he wants more equality among the minor gods and the Olympians. ”Gee, I don’t know what else to say, I’ve never really analyzed my personality before; this is all very new to me.” Despite his flaws, Logan is very modest. He usually doesn’t go on rants about things he thinks are unfair. In fact, he never really complains at all to other campers. He usually doesn’t over exaggerate about things unless he’s really angry. Logan’s learned not to show his negative emotions to other people, especially those he barely knows. If you’re his best friend, you have a better chance at getting him to tell you how he feels. ”This is getting really difficult. I mean, it’s hard for a lot of people to describe their personality. Why is this necessary? It’s so much easier describing someone else’s personality for them. Help a Demi-God out here.” Despite Logan Shipper being envious of the majority of the campers at Camp Half Blood, he is a selfless teenage boy with an ambition to help others for what is right. He doesn’t think about what he wants, most of the time, before thinking about what others want. This being said, Logan Shipper is also considerate, generous, and helpful, all because he is selfless.
Fatal Flaw: ”See, I don’t know and I’m 99.9% positive that’s a good thing. It’s a dangerous thing, knowing our own fatal flaw. That’s why they’re so, you know, fatal. I feel as though we’re more at risk if we know what our fatal flaw is, so I’ve chosen not to figure out what mine is. End of Story. Good bye. The end.” Logan doesn’t want to know what his fatal flaw is, so keep it a secret from him. Logan isn’t confident. He’s insecure about himself in most categories; sometimes it’s really bad. Hesitating in battle has almost gotten him killed a couple times, already. Who knows what could happen to Logan Shipper in the future war.
Pets: [color=purple]”Animals and I don’t really see eye to eye. So, no I don’t have any pets.” Logan Shipper doesn’t have any pets because most animals are afraid of him.
Talents: ”Well, I don’t know about any talents, but I can certainly use some of the powers my mother gave me. Like, I have minor control over the dead. Not people or anything, just dead plants and bugs, but they don’t like me either. And fire. I like playing with fire.” **Necromancy Logan can bring dead plants and bugs back to life. At first, he could only bring small things like leaves and flies back to life and they would remain wounded, but he’s gotten a lot better since then and those things come back to life unharmed. Sometime though, bigger plants and insects will be injured when he brings them back from the dead. **Fire Logan can control fire a little bit. He can’t do anything super crazy; that’s Hephaestus’ job, but he can light lamps or make a campfire as long as he has wood and dry grass on him. He can do other little things as well. He has little matches at his fingertips, well his fingertips serve as matches.
Weapons: ”Why I have this sword, I’ll never know, but it collapses into this wand. The wand is supposed to help me with magic I can’t perform naturally, so anything that isn’t necromancy or fire related I have to use my wand for, and it takes at least one spell book and lots of practice before I can even perform it correctly.” Logan Shipper has a wand that will perform magic after lots of learning and practice on his part, but when he says the Greek work for magic, μαγεία, it transforms itself into a three foot long sword.
Year-Round or Summer: ”I stay at camp year-round now. I’ve gotten tired of home.”
