Now, Cerise had never ridden on a pegasus before. But when she had visited the stables, she'd fallen in love. A beautiful chestnut with black-tipped wings and mane. The blond Aphrodite pet it's nose, and fed it apples and hay. She'd been grooming it and bonding with it for a few days by now. Now, she probably should have taken lessons first, but she'd ridden horses before.

Climbing onto the back of the pegasus, she smiled. "Alright, Caramel. Nice and easy." she cooed, her accent thick. "Lets go!" The horse began to gallop. They'd stay on the ground for now.

"Easy COME, easy go...

Horses were not my thing. I actually knew how to ride them pretty good, but they made me sweat, and get all full of hair. I didn't have a grudge on the pegasus, just the things it caused. I had had to leave my leather jacket at the stables, and I was actually wearing plain loose blue jeans instead of my skinny jeans. Skinny jeans were not good for riding, I wasn't an idiot. And the leather jacket would've given me heat stroke.

So, there I was, riding a pure black pegasus down the horse path. Why? I had nothing else to do. I hadn't ridden the horses in a while, so I thought I might as well. The sun was beating down, and I was going much too slow for my taste. I snapped the reins, and the pegasus whinnied. "Go!" I yelled.

Even though I only had half my vision, I still could see the dark dot getting closer gradually in the distance. What was it? I wanted to find out. So, I slightly kicked the horse, making it fly into the air. Always a first time for everything, I thought. The hourse was unstable, but I stayed on just fine. "Go!" I yelled again. IT heeded to my call, and started flying fast in teh air. The wind on my face felt great, and now we were getting closer to what was upahead.

Finally, we reached it, and we landed with a thud on teh ground, stirring up dust, and scarring the other pegasus pretty good. I hadn't actually noticed the girl sitting on the horse there, and I felt just a glimmer of guilt. But, it quickly passed.

Cerise had heard the other rider before she'd seen them. But that didn't help prepare for his rather rude landing, kicking dusting into her hair and startling the poor Pegasus. Staying on as it jumped, flapped it's wings and whinnied. "Shhh, it's alright girl. Ain't nothing that'll hurt you..." It was surprising to see the girl settle so easily onto the bucking, frightened creature, calming it carefully.

Once the creature had calmed, Cerise looked over. "Now, was that needed, shug?" she asked, petting the mane of the pegasus, who was still staring at the other pegasus and it's rider with contempt. Cerise's hair was a bit messy now, her cloths a bit dusty, but she didn't even bother to fuss. A few pats and dusts and she was content with the look. "Can I help you?" she asked, her accent thick as molasses.

"Easy COME, easy go...

I rode by her, and I looked her over a bit. She seemed a bit irked at me, but I couldn't care less. "Name's Commet," I said, ignoring her question. "And who might little miss country gal be?" I asked, a smirk playing on my lips.

I chuckled. Playing hard to get, eh? I thought. She was cool, because she didn't get all wide-eyed and scared when I walked up. Or, in this case, rode up.

I snapped the reins, and rode faster to catch up with her. "Well, it's not my fault that's my name. And what would you rather ot be? Rex? T-Bone? Maybe even Mary?" I smiled slyly. Even though I was half blind, I still had a sense of humor.

"Those are all worse!" Cerise frowned, continuing to ride. "You should have a -sensible- name. Commet's the kind of name that makes a boy misbehave." She grumped in her accent. "Like dye his hair unnatural colors and act like a 'gator, swinging it's tail all over." she said, shaking her head. She didn't mention she usually dates boys like him, because that would blow her cover. She was trying to behave while her brother was in the Infirmary. He'd never approve her dating some sass mouth boy.

But she shook herself out of it and looked ahead. "Well maybe you should go find some other unruly young boys to bother instead of mannerable young women." she huffed. But her resolve was crumbling.

Cerise felt her cheeks heat up as she locked onto his smile, before snapping her eyes away. "Or people don't like a rude boy." she said, getting off the pegasus, letting her go and graze as she gave her legs a break. "You're very egotistical." Her red lips pouted as she pulled a compact out and fixed her hair and make-up more thoroughly.

I bowed as I let my pegasus go and frollick with the other. I didn't pay much attention to them, because I was still talking to Cerise. "Why thank you, I take much pride in that," I said and I smiled again, this time a little more evil than sly.

"I'll get you some apples when we get back to the stables." She promised, turning the creature and starting back, trying to avoid the boy's gaze.
