Illiteracy.

Illeteracy. It annoys me. For those who didn't know I'm a grammar freak, you do now. For those who knew, well, I'm not surprised. 

There are probably a million ways to be illiterate, but my top two pet peeves when it comes to illiteracy are 'over punctuation' (and vice versa), and of course, 'txt l4ng.' it annoys me, and I'm pretty sure most people hate it too. 

Okay. You're posting from an iPod. I don't blame you. We all get lazy. But with a desktop/computer, it's not really an excuse. It's annoying, and not easy to read. Maybe to you people who use it, it's easy to read, but around 90% of the population doesn't want to see 'r u derer?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?' that, that was frustrating for me to type. Especially when you have a firetrucking million interjection marks(Is that a term? I'm just writing what sounds right.) and honestly, one '?' and '!' are enough. I get it, you want to express, use your vocabulary. You go to school, you know how to use words to express yourself. 

I also hate it when someone overuses the word 'thing' or 'thingy', etc. I don't want to post with someone that posts like 'he fel dwn on te stuff and he hurt his back so he had a thng tht wad white and the dr put it on his back' I can name 5 grammatical errors within this 'sentence'. I know this may sound like I'm a prick or something, but it really irks me. It irks me when people are completely illiterate on the chatbox. 

Okay, it's a chatbox, I get it. 'brb', 'bbl', 'g2g', and 'lol' are fine. But when you're posting stuff like 'heeeeeeeeeeeeeeyyyyyyyyyy wsaup'. (Just add more letters till the cbox stretches.) It also annoys me when people want me to do something for them and ask me like, 'cherrrryy cn u acpt mah char 4 mee??????????????????' 

And 
'hv u acptd mah char yeeet!!!!!!!!!????????????'

And 

'soweyy ur tkin 4eve 2 acpt mah char' 

I wanna add 'Cher started to twitch, and thus, the powerpuff girls died. ' I swear, I feel like punching that person in the face. Especially when my spell check has that red line under the word, I feel like slapping someone.

I know what you mean. I chatbox I can generally deal(unless it's so messed up that I can't read it) but it irritates the hell out of me when people role play like that. I just really feel the urge to find them, and rip off their arms, and slam their heads physically into their keyboards.
