Brief History: Starr is a typical daughter of Aphrodite. She had always been the popular one. She loved shopping, had lots of boyfriends, the whole deal. But underneath all that, there’s a secret she hides.
When Starr was born, her father was overjoyed. But, he had been in the army for many years, and the day she was born, he was sent to Iraq. So, when Aphrodite left, Starr’s Aunt, Sadie stepped in as her mother.
Sampson came home for two years when Starr was nine and she was overjoyed, but a little insecure. She tried to get to know him, and she loved him, but he didn’t feel like a father to her. He was gone too long.
When he went back to war, he was supposed to come back a year later, retired. But he never did. No one could find him or contact him in anyway, so he was declared MIA. It has been like that till now. He is not proclaimed dead, but he has been MIA for six years, and Starr and Sadie expect the worst. But Starr in her heart doesn’t want to give up on him. He was still her loving father and, her his loving daughter.
Starr was claimed as a daughter of Aphrodite when she was fifteen and her Aunt didn’t want to take her to camp. Starr was popular, beautiful, Sadie was rich, and Starr was smart. But, Starr wanted to go, and she wouldn’t tell her Aunt why. So, Sadie took her to camp when she was sixteen.
Physical Appearance: Starr is of course, being a daughter of Aphrodite, beautiful. She has long, flowing blonde hair. Her eyes are sparkling and lively, putting almost anyone in a good mood. But, when she’s in a bad mood, they burn with an intense fire. Her face is very soft, and always has an interested look to it. When she smiles, she’s gorgeous, her face lights up, and she shows perfect white teeth. When she’s angry, her face looks more sharp, like a wolfs, and her teeth clench. She’s almost never sad around people, but when she is, her whole face turns so sorrowful, people can’t help but feel sorry for her. She is a nice height, a perfect weight, and she has perfect body structure. Her only problem is that her feet are a bit big, but she tries to go around it. She wears a plain black tee with a plaid tied shirt over it. She rocks the floral theme with flower short shorts, redish-pink flower converses, diamond flower earrings with matching necklace. She usually has her hair in a fishtail braid over her shoulder, and a flower clip that matches her shoes at the base of the braid. She always has her bow and arrows on her back, because fighting is one of the main parts of her life.
Personality: Starr is usually sweet most of the time. Her voice is like honey. It’s soft, and very birdlike. She likes most people, and doesn’t judge people by looks like most Aphrodite kids. But, she still loves love. She can’t stand not having a boyfriend, but sometimes she can get bored with them. She doesn’t mind getting dirty, unless someone did it to her on purpose. Most people think Starr is perfect. But they don’t see her when she’s angry.
When Starr gets angry, she gets unpredictable, and full blown hatred shows out, on her face, voice, fighting, and body language. She’s still beautiful, but it’s a kind of scary beautiful. And she can hold some pretty wicked grudges. She doesn’t like when people are rude to her or her friends, and she hates mean people, even though she can be more than mean. She loves taking out revenge, and never hesitates fighting.
Fatal Flaw: Starr can get very aggressive. When she’s in a fight, even if it doesn’t involve weapons, she gets a razor to her voice, and becomes like a beast. Wild and untamed. She hold grudges, and loves revenge.

Talents: She’s fast, agile, and a very good aim. She is also beautiful. And by that, I mean she has a sort of charm speak with her looks. When she’s sad, people who see her face become sad also. Only when she’s angry, it keeps itself locked up, and shows on her face, but her opponent can feel whatever they want to feel. But, she can’t control this, and she has almost no idea, because it happens all the time. She also is a great singer, but she only sings to the birds.

Brief History: Alex has always had an awesome life. Compared to most demigods, her life was a piece of cake. But, even the best cakes, have at least one flaw.
When Alex’s mother left, her father was depressed, but only for a bit, because she’s his ray of sunshine. Alex was always a happy girl and that healed her father into perusing his dream of owning a bookstore.
So when Alex was two, they moved to the small town of Monticello, Minnesota. There, the winters were always cold, and the summers always hot, so Alex got a good taste of weather. Her father opened a family owned bookstore, and when Alex was five, she started helping at it. She was also a very advanced reader, and loved the bookstore and her father with all her heart. But, when Alex reached the age of ten, her life got complicated.
Alex got a best friend named Renee. Renee was a very bad influence, because she already smoked, drank, and had sex. And a when she was thirteen, she got pregnant. Her family kicked Renee out of her house, and Alex, being caring and kind, asked her father if they could take her in. And he said yes, but it became a huge problem, when she snuck beer into the house, and mixed it with Alex’s Sprite. Her father kicked Renee out, and they have no idea what happened to her.
But, Alex’s father knew about camp, and he didn’t want his little girl having anymore bad influences like that. So, he gave her a plane ticket to California, where a satyr was there to greet her. Alex was a bit sad, because she had never really been outside of Minnesota, and she never gets to see the world.
But, Alex loves it at camp, and wouldn’t trade anything for it.
Physical Appearance: Alex is quite beautiful with long, slightly wavy blonde hair that she usually wears down. She has absolutely gorgeous eyes, which shine like diamonds. Her eyes are a soft lilac color with silver flecks in them that makes the purple even more pretty. She has soft, light pink lips, and a soft, kind face. She is normal height, and a good weight, not too fat, not too skinny. Although, her legs are a bit long, but it makes her fast and agile. She has a pretty tomboy-ish style, and wears a graphic tee with a red heart on it. She wears black short shorts, and red converses that match her shirt. She doesn’t wear much jewelry, just golden stud earrings, and an owl locket with a picture of her and her father. The locket morphs into her bow and arrows.
Personality: Alex is one of the sweetest girls you’ll meet. She is caring, kind, and altogether nice. She loves pretty much everyone, but doesn’t trust everyone. She talks way too much, but is naturally bubbly. She loves to help people, and isn’t afraid to speak out. The only problems are that she doesn’t trust people very easily, and she hides her emotions. Like, when she’s sad, she’ll pretend to be happy so people don’t worry about her. She loves helping people, but doesn’t really help herself.
And her trust issues. Because of her experience with Renee, she hasn’t ever been the same. Who would? Even though she’s nice to everyone, doesn’t mean she likes them. She talks too much, and ramble about random things.
But, despite all these things, she’s a writing wizard. Her passion is writing stories, and fighting, but, mostly writing. She talks like a normal teen, but in her head, she thinks sophisticated thoughts. She always tries to figure things out on her own, and loves to think of everything as one big story. Just an adventure full of excitement.
Fatal Flaw: Trust issues, and she hides her emotions.

Brief History: Kade lived in Hawaii with his father and his three younger brothers. Kade loved all of them, and he adored his stepmom, Fallon. She died when he was thirteen, and he was heartbroken. But, his father wasn’t working, and his siblings were not old enough to have a job. So, Kade set out being the family provider. He did very well, but then a terrible sickness took over the family. His father, and two of his brothers died, and Kade felt guilty, because he was not able to supply the medicine. Kade and his youngest brother Timothy boarded a ship with what little money they had, and went to California. They spent many years there, and Kade spent a short time as a singer, but it never lasted because of his brother. Kade and Timothy were out on the streets, and Timothy was dying of hunger, and so was Kade. Kade found a nice foster home, and he had to give up Timothy. Kade lived in the streets by himself for two years, when news of his brother hit him. His brother had been hit by a car, and Kade had to attend the funeral. At the funeral, some demigods were there to take him to CHB. On the way, he was claimed as a son of Tyche. He thought it ironic, because she’s the goddess of luck. But, it made sense, that maybe, he got the bad of the deal, with bad luck instead of good luck. But, at CHB, he was a friend to everyone, especially the younger demigods.
Physical Appearance: Kade has dull, dark brown hair, and brown-black eyes. He has perfect teeth, and a nice smile. He is somewhat strong, but all those years of sickness and starving took its toll on him, making him have slight dark rings under his eyes when he doesn’t get enough sleep. He likes to wear a plain white t-shirt, and a chocolate brown hoodie, usually with the hood up. He wear nerd glasses shades, and brown converses with red plaid in the inside, and plain blue jeans. He also has his two Katana swords in an "X" formation on his back.
Personality: Kade is very kind and gentle, but brings disaster with him almost everywhere he goes. He usually stays indoors, because bad things are less likely to happen there. He is a great singer, but he never sings, unless it’s necessary. Kade is a real kid person, but doesn’t do well with his elders. He hates almost all adults, and loves all kids. He is bad at following directions, but good at making them.
Fatal Flaw: He hates adults, and never follows instructions. He also has the “bad luck” effect also.

Brief History: Arctos always lived a pretty good life. His mother died when he was young, be being a handsome young boy, was adopted quickly, to the Carson family. It was always pretty good if you could get past the tough brother, slightly abusive dad, and the constant moving. Life was good, until Jeffery died.
Artocs had been adopted when he was about three and his new family were bull riders from Kentucky. They moved every three weeks to go to a new contest. Arctos always loved the horses and bulls that were there and his job was to take care of them while his father and brothers rode in the contests. They made enough money doing that, but it made his brothers tough on him, because Arctos didn’t want to ride bulls. They always made fun of him, and once in a while, on the road, his father would get drunk and abuse him. Artcos didn’t mind though, he was tougher than they thought, and he honestly didn’t care what they did to him.
When Arctos was near his twelfth birthday, Jeffery, the eldest brother, died. He had been riding a bronco that Arctos had been taking care of, and it bucked him off, giving Jeffery a terrible head injury. He hadn’t gotten to the hospital in time, so he had died. Jim and Dylan had blamed Arctos for Jeffery’s death, and while they were in California, kicked him out of the family. But, before they did, Jim had taken a whip, and slashed Artcos across the back. That’s where his father got his new riding name. Jim “The Whip” Carson.
Arctos wandered until he got a job as a ranch hand on a farm. There, he trained the horses, milked the cows, lifted the hay, and did pretty much everything. All of this only made him stronger, and a better fighter. Late at night, when the farmer and his wife were sleeping, Arctos would fight dummies he made out of straw. This was the happiest Arctos had ever been. But, it hadn’t lasted long.
On the day Arctos turned fourteen, a manticore came at night, and started killing some cows, looking for Acrtos. Some wandering demigods had watched as Arctos fought with amazing skill, and killed the manticore. And that night, he was brought to CHB, but not before he took his horse Smoke with him.
Physical Appearance: Arctos, being a son of Ares, is very strong. His muscles are always visable, but he doesn’t show them off. He has dark dusty brown hair that is layered, and he has to push his bangs back a lot to keep hairs out of his face. He has unique eyes, because they are a sort of light blue brown with slight gold flecks. He has handsome cheekbones, and a hard face. He doesn’t smile much, but when he does, he looks extremely handsome, because it brightens his face. From the whip his father left him, he had a very long scar that runs diagonally down from his left shoulder, to the bottom of his spine on the right side. In a sleeveless shirt, it is clearly visible on his shoulder. He likes to wear a black tank top (that shows his muscle, not meaning to), and black shorts, like what you’d expect gym pants to be like. He wears steel-toed work boots, and always has his work gloves in his pants pocket. He wears a silver dog tag necklace that’s blank except for a flame on it. It morphs into his two spears. People say he’s very handsome, but Arctos doesn’t care.
Personality: Arctos is a very reserved guy. He doesn’t really like to talk, and he prefers to be with his horse, Smoke. If you listen, he is very talkative to the animals, but never to people. He is actually quite caring if you get to know him, but usually you can’t tell anything. His face is usually always expressionless, and he barely ever smiles at people, but he always smiles to the horses. His voice is low, and smooth, and actually quite comforting. But as I said, he doesn’t really talk.
Despite that fact he can be compassionate, he can also be ruthless. He loves fighting, and is very good at it. He has a decent temper, but like any Ares child, he can get a little out of hand. He doesn’t like to kill though, only maim people, but he loves to kill monsters.
For hobbies, Arctos is almost always with the horses. He loves his horse Smoke, and they are inseparable. But, sometimes, Arctos needs time alone. So, when he’s alone, he can be found in the forest, or at a creek, just thinking. He is also quite smart, but doesn’t show it. He also doesn’t mind taking what’s coming to him. He doesn’t care about pain, and knows he deserves whatever he gets. But sometimes, it’s not, and it can lead to a whole world of guilt.
But, if you can keep a secret, he’s never had a girlfriend, and would love one that loves horses as much as he does.
Fatal Flaw: He doesn’t talk much. How is that fatal? He doesn’t like to communicate, even in a very dire circumstance, he keeps to himself. He only talks if he feels like it.
Pet(s): A Bright red stallion named Smoke
Talents: Arctos is really good with horses and almost any animal, and is great at riding horses. He’s great at fighting with his spears, and he is very strong.

Brief History: Commet’s family had always had problems. Not with each other, but with themselves. His family is known to have some sort of disabilities, somehow. Some in his family are born with it, others it just happens. Like his mother, she has both legs amputated, and now has fake legs. That happened by a freak accident skydiving. Forgot to mention, his family is also a family of daredevils.
Even from the moment Commet was born, he was an outcast, His family loved him, but no one else did. This made him cold, and bitter. Why? Because he was born with purple hair, and only later did they find out that he was born blind in one eye.
Living life as an outcast is never easy, especially when you’re a Demigod like Commet. Commet always had a cruel sense of humor, but yet always helped people in need, weather friend or foe. But, the more he tried, the more he was pushed away, never to have any friends. So, eventually in 5th grade, he gave up trying to make friends. He was convinced that the only person he needed was himself.
But, when he was fourteen, he brother got into a major car crash, because the driver was drunk. Ren was paralyzed from the neck down, and he lived for three days, before his heart gave out, and he died. Commet had acted like nothing had happened, while his mother grieved. But, deep inside, Commet was full of remorse. He felt like it was his fault, because he knew his father was Dionysus, and he thought it was his fault. Commet was bitterer than ever.
But, when he turned fifteen, for his birthday, instead of a new CD or iTunes gift card, he asked to go to CHB. His mother was heartbroken still because of Ren, but Commet had not said a word to her for a whole month because she had refused him. Then, finally, with her heart aching sent him to camp. Along the way, he had to fight off many monsters, but it gave him good practice, because he was already a natural fighter.
When he reached camp, he was actually happy for one of the first times in his life. Finally, people like him! But still, he was ostracized, with still, no friends. And he didn’t want any, he liked it that way. So, he became the camp bad boy. He did all the things he wasn’t supposed to, and did what he pleased. He was a daredevil, and liked it. Of course, being a seventeen year old boy, who hasn’t had a girlfriend in his life, he still wishes for one sometimes, even writes poems about a girl he’s dreamed of. He is a great poet, but he hasn’t let anyone read them. That would ruin his reputation, now wouldn’t it?
Physical Appearance: Commet has a unique, yet typical look. He has shiny, dark purple hair, that yes, he was born with, and that has bangs that cover his blind eye. He likes that, because he has one beautiful dark chocolate eye, but his blind eye is coal black, with a flame of ambition. His skin is very pale, even though he’s outside a lot. He has light, plump, pink lips that always look like they have gloss on, even though he does nothing of the sort. He does have one ear pierced, to add to the bad boy “look”. He’s skinny, but not too much so to be unhealthy, and is tall at 6’6”. He actually has quite a bit of muscle, even though it doesn’t look like it because he’s so thin.
He wears a white v-neck tee with a black leather jacket that’s always unzipped. His pants are black skinny jeans, and black and purple Osiris shoes. He wears a surprisingly small amount of jewelry, because he only wears his single black stud earring on his left ear. The shoelace on his right shoe transforms into his double ended sword.
Personality: Commet has changed his personality over the years. When he was young, he was bitter, but sweet. Then, as he got older, he got cold and ever bitterer. Now, he’s still bitter and cold, but also cocky. Not so much as arrogant to people, but arrogant to himself. He thinks he can do almost anything, no matter what people say. He never takes advice unless he knows it’s good, and he agrees with it. He makes his own rules usually, and doesn’t care what people think of him. Well… deep inside, he is a bit insecure.
Most people don’t know he’s blind in one eye, and he wants to keep it that way. He doesn’t want people to label him as weak, or disabled. It does hassle him sometimes though, as all disabilities do.
As said, he secretly writes poetry, and has been for four years. He has never shown anyone, and doesn’t want to. Again, they’d label him as weak, and soft. He hates being called names, and he can be angered quite easily, but with words, but with actions. He doesn’t care what people say, but when they get in his face, he doesn’t hesitate to start a rumble. People think of him as the modern day “Greaser”.
Fatal Flaw: He makes his own rules, can get angered easily with actions, has a cruel sense of humor, which can get him into trouble.
Pet(s): None
Talents: He’s a great fighter, but could be better if he practiced more. He can make grape vines grow anywhere he wants, and can turn them into wine if he wants to, but he swore off drinking when Ren died. He is a great poet, but no one knows it (rhyme! ^^). Even though he’s mostly cold, even the coldest of places have some warmth. Like Commet, he still had some good, kind things about him, but it almost never comes out.
Weapon(s): His double ended sword.

Her family made sure of that, or should I say, the “Fire Starters”.
Ares was attracted to Nyla’s mother because she was a biker. And not the kind that rides around the country, though she did do that, and still does. She’s a trick biker, doing crazy stunts in a metal cage, or pretty much anything. Her mom was called “The Inferno”. Then, when she had Nyla, her first child, she had to retire for a short time. Then, two years later, she had Brenna, then a year later, Aylin. When they got old enough, Joy gave them bikes, and they started practicing acts for the “Fire Starters”.
The traveled worldwide, never staying in one place for more than about five months. So, Nyla never really made many friends, so she and her sisters were pretty close. Even though her mother was a charmer on tour, behind the scenes she drank to cope with stress, or pulled muscles, or really anything. That didn’t mix well with her rough attitude.
So, Nyla’s sisters were abused a lot, so they were frail, and scared. But Joy knew better than to mess with Nyla. She made sure never to forget that she Nyla was the daughter of Ares. Nyla was the only one who stood up for herself, and wouldn’t stand for the beatings. But, the thing she inherited from her mother was the roughness. Nyla could take anything. Physical and mental pain. She could take it, but it didn’t mean Nyla didn’t feel it. All the mean words her mother said, all the things she stood by and watched happen to her sisters.
By the time Nyla was 12, she was a real charmer. People loved her finesse mixed with brute strength. Nyla was also very pretty and everyone loved her. She was the new face of the “Fire Starters”. But, Joy, being the way she is, got jealous. When she lashed out at Nyla, all the drink making her forget who Nyla was, Nyla pinned her down, and realized how brutal she could be.
Her sisters were snapped out of their stupor for a bit. While her mother stayed wary of Nyla, she still beat up on her sisters. So, when Nyla was finally 13, she and her sisters ran away, giving Joy what she missed. Her spotlight.
Nyla has no idea where Brenna and Aylin are now, but Nyla was guided but a strange creature to camp. Nyla was claimed almost immediately. But, due to her being a daughter of Ares, her obvious strength and skill, people avoided her. Nyla hates that people judge her because of her father. Nyla is always lonely, longing for someone to understand she’s not all brutality and fierceness. That this mysterious girl actually has a heart.Physical Appearance: Nyla is pretty with long wavy blonde hair, and stunning green eyes. Her hair is usually down, with a small braid in the side, and even when it’s messed up after working out, it looks great. She has pale, dark red lips, and sharp features, much like a wolf. When she’s pissed off, or plain annoyed, she gives dagger-like stares that scare people, but when she smiles, she looks much softer, yet still fierce, but it can disappear so quickly, most people don’t see it. She is strong, but proportioned, so her arms are thick with muscle, and well as her legs. She actually is one of the few girls with really good abs, because she loves lifting weights, and working out. She never wears makeup, unless there’s something special going on. Her voice always has razors in it when she’s angry, but dripping with honey when she’s happy. She wears a black work out tank top, and work out shorts. She always wears her black and white Puma’s, and her silver heart locket that transforms into her huge, heavy sword.Personality: Nyla can be very brutal, or very subtle, or even caring. Nyla has a lot of sides to her, and she likes to keep herself mysterious, not letting many people know who she really is. And even though her experiences with people aren’t the best, she’s quite trusting. She believes that there’s good in everyone, and she usually focuses on that. But, sometimes, she thinks of other things that they did that were bad, and she could focus on that.
Despite being nice, she always looks fierce. Even when she smiles, she looks fierce, making most people afraid of her. Her voice sounds so sharp when she get annoyed, it scares people into silence. She doesn’t usually mean it, buts she can’t help it. It’s part of who she is.
She doesn’t get mad easily, but she can get annoyed easily, which can turn her mad. She doesn’t care what people say to her, but eventually, enough is enough.

Brief History: David is not your typical son of Aphrodite. He prefers being by himself, he hates parties, and he despises shopping to a high degree.
David’s father was already married when Aphrodite had David, but even so, Lauren knew that David’s mother was not her, but Aphrodite. She always reminded David of that, making sure he knew that he was NOT her real son. But, nevertheless, since his family had money to burn, Lauren spoiled him.
Lauren took him shopping, but he never did anything but run off, and listen to his iPod somewhere. He never was interested in girls until he was older, but his mother set up dates for him. He’d just run, and listen to his music. His mother gave him anything he wanted, or rather, thing she wanted him to have. All David ever wanted was a laptop, an iPod, and clothes, food, and a home. He’d be content with only those things. But, no matter what, Lauren bragged about how David was so handsome, and he always had the best clothes, which was strange, because Lauren treated him like crap at home.
School was hard for David, because he never wanted to be popular. But, kids followed him around, because they knew that his father was a music producer. They tried to bribe him, even blackmail him. But, he just wore his headphones, and blurred out all the conflict around him with his music.
Without his mother knowing, David actually became a singer. He sang country, and his father helped him. He went by the name Brett Spencer, and he became immensely popular, but no one knew who he really was, and he wanted to keep it that way. But, his mother snooped at the studio while David was recording a new song, and she revealed who he really was. He was more popular than ever.
Caleb felt bad for him. David had stayed in his room for a whole week, not coming out at all. Finally, Caleb couldn’t stand it anymore, so he told David about camp. David wanted to go, but his mother wouldn’t let him. So, David ran away, leaving a not that said this,

Physical Appearance: David is a plain, yet gorgeous guy. He has dark brown hair that’s always cut short, and he has slight bangs that sweep his forehead. He has bright eyes that anyone could get lost in; they’re a dark shiny chocolate with dark forest green flecks that seem to shimmer when he’s happy. He has a slender face that has a stunning jaw line, and a heart shaped head. He is a perfect height and weight, and has a great build. But, he almost always has a face that looks like he’s pouting, which makes him gorgeous, yet always looking sad. He has soft lips, and perfect white teeth that only show when he smiles or grins. Personality: David is a quiet boy. He loves music more than anything, but hates being recognized. When people figure out who he is, he denies it, hoping he can convince them that it’s not him. He plays a multitude of instruments, and, of course, sings almost any kind of genre of song well, but he’s best at country. Whenever he can, he sneaks into the Amphitheatre, and sings with his guitar by himself.
David is actually quite the charmer, because he just has this irresistible personality, and is boyishly cute, yet strong and humble like a man. But, sometimes, he ruins it for himself, because he’s very clumsy. A girl talks to him, he doesn’t really pay attention, and when he does, he always does something klutzy.
David is very sweet when you get to know him. He’s a good listener, and he tries to help solve any problem someone might be having. He’s always good at comforting people, despite that he doesn’t like people comforting him.
He’s also a very smiley guy. He doesn’t necessarily like a lot of jokes, but he has a good sense of humor, and his laugh is like a drop of honey. His eyes are always intent, ready to listen.

Brief History: When Ember was born, her mother couldn’t be happier. She had always prayed for a child, and finally, she had one. A beautiful baby girl, and named her Ember for her orange-auburn hair. She loved Ember more than anything. But, Jennifer was always a busy woman.
Ember grew up in California, always outside, running around, riding horses, chasing birds, singing, dancing, anything she could do. Ember wanted to do everything, no matter what. But, there was always a pit in her heart; because once Ember was old enough to be left alone, her mother went right back to work.
Her mother owned one of the most famous vineyards in the country, so she was busy with paperwork, picking grapes, making wine, and shipping it. She almost never had time with her daughter, so Ember grew up teaching herself everything that school didn’t. She signed herself up for fencing classes, and was brilliant at it, her newfound talent. She thought for sure her mother would come to her regional championship, but she never came. Not even when she won the national title, her mother never noticed the trophy, sitting in plain view in Embers bedroom.
Finally, when Ember turned eight, only her servants noticing her birthday, there was only one option for Ember. Crime, drinking, and smoking came into her life, in a last desperate attempt to gain her mother’s attention.
She never did drugs, because she was never too serious, and fortunately, she didn’t get addicted to smoking, on one or two around the house maybe twice a week. But, no matter what she did, it never worked.
Until she robbed a bank.
It was in the headlines of the town paper, which Jennifer read every day. She got very angry, and asked her how it happened. Jennifer was confused at the giddiness in her daughter’s eyes and Ember told her she had somehow made them go mad; completely insane.
So, Jennifer told Ember about her father, and she was thrilled. She was special, she was important, powerful, and finally, her mother paid attention to her. She stopped doing bad things, and went back to herself.
But, not all good things last forever. Her mother quickly went back to her work, and Ember was sad. She never ate, never slept, never even went outside, which pained her greatly. She cried often, and never talked to anyone. She just sat I her room, and stared out at the window at the animals and trees outside. She could see the vineyard, and the workers picking grapes. She missed the smell of them and the feel of her bare feet on the soil as she ran through the rows and rows of her crop.
Then, as she watched out her window, a huge black dot against the red and purple grapes came bounding towards the house. It was fast, and huge, and Ember had no idea what it was. So, she took a sword she had bought without her mother knowing, and ran outside, feeling the wind in her braided hair again, her bare feed flying on the ground.
It was a hellhound, but she was never fast enough. It had destroyed half of the vineyard, destruction of ruined fruit everywhere. Ember wanted to cry. This was her mother’s livelihood, their way of living. So, she fought the hellhound at the age of eleven, and it was a challenge, but she finally killed it.
Her mother found out that it was a hellhound. That it was Ember who had drawn it there. Anger welled up inside her, and she had her mind set that it was all Embers fault, not paying heed that Ember had killed it.
She had yelled so cruelly, and so severely, that tears welled up in Embers eyes. Ember packed some clothes, a few bread pieces, some water bottles, her sword, and ran. She ran as fast as she could from her home. She didn’t care that they were rich, had much land, servants, anything that anyone could ever want. But Ember didn’t want to live in a hollow house, with her mother not bothering to love her.
She arrived quickly, but caused trouble along the way. She had to rob a grocery store, and also steal money from a man. She did many things without meaning to, and got mixed up in things that she didn’t need to be in. So, after a while, she was wanted in many towns in California. Ember still ran, and she regretted every bad thing she had done.
By the time she reached camp, she was terribly skinny, weak, bruised, and scared. Everyone took her in, and cared for her. Then, as she walked out of the Infirmary, finally healed, she was claimed at camp, for everyone to see. People kept their distance, since people went out a lot, they knew she was wanted. And they knew she could make people go mad.
Physical Appearance: Ember has a beautiful, yet mysterious look to her. She has light orange-auburn hair that she keeps in a braid all the time; she hates it when it’s down, too much trouble to keep pushing it out of your face. Her eyes are a deep, endless black; people stared at them, almost as if they’re alien. They were a bit scary, because you could never quite see what she was thinking. Her cheeks are naturally blushed, and her lips a deep red. She has a round, soft face, never easy to read, even though she portrays emotion very well, she can almost never hide emotion. But, her looks make it hard for people to know what she’s feeling. She is extremely pale, and a bit too skinny, but she likes herself that way. She wears plain clothes, always good for running. She has a pale pink-purple t-shirt, and shorts (some sort of yoga shorts). She wears no jewelry, not even earrings. She almost always goes barefoot, but when she has to wear shoes, she wears brown sandals.
Personality: Ember is a hard person to decipher. She has multiple personalities, and you never know which one she is at the moment. She is usually a happy-go-lucky girl, always caring, always sweet. Sometimes she’s too emotional, not always crying, but gets hurt easily by words. She can be ruthless, no mercy, not really mean, just never gives up when she wants to win. But, even when she’s emotional and ruthless, she still always shows a tender side that’s always there no matter what. She always has pity, and always has guilt.
But, with tenderness, comes love. When she loves something, it never goes away. Even with people, no matter what they do, she still loves them no matter what they do. Like a friend dates her boyfriend, Ember isn’t friends with her anymore, but still loves her as a friend, will always hold her near and dear. You could say that she has a big, flexible heart.
Ember loves the outdoors. If you asked if she wanted to see a movie, or go on a picnic, she’d go to the picnic in a heartbeat. She loves running more than training. She’s always running through forests, the strawberry fields, wherever there’s trees and dirt. She loves running at night, because it helps here coordination, and it always sets her heartbeat at a record fast pace. She’s lightning fast, can outrun almost everyone at camp, because she runs every day, and every night.
And, of course, she still had fencing. She doesn’t do it as often, but she does it occasionally, and she still is quite good at it.
Fatal Flaw: She can be a little too tender. If she fights, and almost kills someone, she always wants to help them.

Talents: She can make anyone go mad or insane, but how long and how bad depends on her mood. She’s extremely fast, and a good swordfighter.
Weapon(s): Her sword that a Hephaestus demigod had made for her. It has purple glints in it when you shift it in the light.

One weekend, his sister and brother, who are both older than him, started beating him up with a gang of their friends. He tried to fend them off, but he was overpowered. He ran into the forest. He found a nice old woman and lived with her for eight years. When she died, she had left the land to him. He didn't know what to do, so he sold the land. He walked for days until he found Hollywood. There, he became a co-move director. Then, in one filming, there was a huge explosion. He had been somewhat ok, but all the other people died. He was blamed for the accident, and put in jail. There, CHB found him, about to kill himself.
Physical Appearance: He has pale skin and soft black eyes. He has silver hair that shines in the sunlight. He’s skinny, but stronger then he looks. He has a nice smile, and likes to show it when he can. He likes to wear black turtle necks, and black sweat pants. He wears brown leather mountain boots, and black wool hats. He also needs glasses, so he has nerd glasses. He also has a striped black and white scarf that he always wears. And he never forgets his magical compass.
Personality: He is very brief when he talks, and talks very old-timey. He likes to be alone most of the time, and is always daydreaming. He is very jittery because he can sometimes see the future in his dreams. He likes to laugh, but it’s very hard to make him laugh. He is very nice to be around, because he’s a listener, not a talker. He is very active for a son of Hypnos. He always goes on walks, and plays with his owl, αηδόνι (Nightingale).

Her shirt on long-sleeved, and the sleeves are black, while the middle of the shirt is grey, with pink/purple design on it, and it says ‘FOREVER’ on it. She wears rolled up blue jeans with a few rips, and some zippers. Her shoes are purple and black plaid ballet flats, and she always has a headband in. The headband has a black flower and a diamond, and she wears a long flowery necklace, but her ears aren’t pierced, because she doesn’t want the pierced. She wears a blue ring shaped like a bow, and she doesn’t know what is does yet, but it morphs into any weapon she wants, but the catch is that it doesn’t have anything special about it. Just plain stuff.Personality: Gabby is very childish. Not like, immature, but like how she talks to people. She wants people to think she’s super sweet, and needs help with a lot of things. But really, she’s quite bright, and is capable of doing things herself. But, she is sweet, but she can be pretty insulting when she wants to be.
Gabby also is filled with glee. She’s always happy, and she’s ever restless. She never can sit still; she always has to be doing something. Usually it’s dancing or drawing, but she does pretty much everything. She isn’t much into helping people, but she’s still nice regardless. Sometimes though, she can be very insulting if you rub her the wrong way.
She also has a great sense of humor.
