Raining snakes...? (Private)

Cookie was sitting up on a tree at the edge of the forest, thinking as usual, and completely minding her own business, when something had to slither up suddenly beside her and grab her ankle. She snapped back to her senses immediately, only to come face to face with a green snake, forked tongue tasting the air, tail coiled tightly around the top of her sneakers. She froze immediately, but did not panic. She knew better than to move. Staring deep into the creature's eyes, she lulled it into a daze. It's mouth opened halfway and Cookie saw the glittering fangs that dripped poison.

She then slowly reached into her pocket and pulled out a dart, moving it closer to the scaly body of the reptile. Cookie stuck it under one if its scales with one swift movement and it went slack almost immediately. Gotcha, she thought. Her tranquillizers were one of a kind, and were pretty potent.

Then she worked on getting the tail off her ankle. It came loose after a few tugs, and she let go. But Cookie forgot that she was a few metres up in the air. So the snake's limp body fell down the tree and flopped into the ground.

Not before it hit an unfortunate somebody on the head. Oops.
