PostSubject: A Claim of Novel Proportions   Fri Oct 30, 2009 11:59 pm

I could not sleep. The creaking of the floor was keeping me from catching any REM sleep, and I felt quite tired. Yet, the way the lights fell over the night floor of the cabin made me quite nervous and paranoid. This place was most likely not the best place to get some shut-eye. I heard a loud thumping at the door. Judging by how I was quite paranoid by this point, I hesitated slightly before getting up. Who could be at the door at this hour? I tried to convince myself it was just a camper who had left for a glass of water or something.
